  1. This was a cute cut. I didn't plan for it to be an ornament, but he can't stand up! Al Baggatta pattern.
  2. Here is a flurry of snowflakes I made for me! These are made from a ribbed plastic and hang outside on my front porch.
  3. I was thinking about your name the other day. I guess I haven't really "missed" you because I am a part of the facebook page. Welcome back to the village!
  4. Here is the link to the pattern. https://free-dxf.com/design-wine-glass-clipart/free-download-dxf-cdr-ai-svg/k1Kjm/download/svg
  5. Off hand, I don't remember where I got the pattern. I will have to search the other computer to find it. When I do find it, I will let you know.
  6. I thought is was a wine glass,on edge, spilling wine. Truly amazed at what others are seeing!
  7. Just got one for my birthday. Looking forward to using it. Do you have & use any of the accessories?
  8. Looks great. I hope you replace your wife's lipstick. You can also use nail polish or a bit of paint!
  9. And how long did it take you to pattern that paragraph and cut through to the end!!
  10. I did this as a quick, non-Christmas cut while waiting for the Countdown Santas to dry. Top layer is maple and the bottom layer is the project ply/mdf. Cut with a #5 blade (because it was a fairly new blade). Colour is a tinted shellac. Topcoated with Osmo Satin finish. Hubby thought is was moons & sci-fi something. People on facebook have some interesting thoughts. I immediately thought, and still think, it is a tipped over wine glass spilling the wine. I have some other ideas for other displays!
  11. Two for the show on Sunday. Steve Good pattern. Cut from 1/4" & 1/8" ply with a #5 Precision Skip blade. Acrylic craft paints on Santa coated with Varathane (sp?). Numbers stained with a Minwax stain.
  12. A great looking village.
  13. I have a set of minnie mop sanders for my rotary tool. https://www.amazon.ca/Yakamoz-1-0-inch-Abrasive-Polishing-Polishers/dp/B07KBY63XR/ref=sr_1_3_sspa?crid=37B0YNTK9GHAY&keywords=abrasive+wheel+buffing+polishing+wheel+set+for+rotary+tool&qid=1701093703&sprefix=buffing+polishing+for+rotary+tool%2Caps%2C180&sr=8-3-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&psc=1
  14. Joe, I almost always reduce a pattern. Don't know why, just do!!
  15. I flat packs for easy transport. I have also made one from a scrap square dowel, drilled the holes for the round dowels and put it on a lazy susan base.
  16. I repurposed a kitchen tool for displaying ornaments. This is what I use. https://www.stokesstores.com/thinkkitchen-napoli-pasta-dryer.html?utm_source=display&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term&=utm_campaign=[IMJ] PMAX - Mid-Margin Products - EN&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiA6vaqBhCbARIsACF9M6nYxljgQ3_u0iF7v1z2Qp8UOZV1gEp7NtH5FD7JuvphWTqNMWylHXIaAjzoEALw_wcB
  17. Well done, as usual Frank. Happy Holidays. Safe travels.
  18. It could be "The Christmas Bunny". https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1640714/
  19. Well done!
  20. Nice work Frank!
  21. Looks great.
  22. The plastic is 1/8" thick. They are less than 8" round. Pattern printed on a standard page.
  23. I needed some new outdoor ornaments. Thought I would try Steve Good's pattern, minus the "Merry Christmas". Stack cut two and used a #1 MG blade. Don't remember what the material is called but is is plastic with ridges running in it. Cutting was easy as there is very little resistance to the material. A lot of fuzzies on the back, but not worried about it because they will be outdoors and no one will get close enough to notice. Hubby wants at least two more, preferably 4 more!
  24. Congrats!
