  1. She is adorable.
  2. Well done Dick. The colours certainly add to it.
  3. Lots of great info here so I am not going to add to it except.... if you are in Canada, order the Niqua or Pegas blades from Garnet Hall. Small buisness, great service & reasonable shipping. https://www.sawbird.com/tools.htm.
  4. If you have any option to push for the surgery, I would highly recommend. Had one eye done when I was 51 and the second eye 10 years later.
  5. Nice cuts. Hope you get the vision problem resolved.
  6. And when I go to their place, I get to go "Shopping" in his scrap pile.
  7. Looks great. And of course, I had to sing the words!! The cutting appears to be just fine!
  8. I agree with this mindset as well. I have "shamed" people on other forums when they say that. If I know of the designer, I will comment with that information and possibly with the link.
  9. We had friends over for dinner last night. I love the hostess gift that he generally brings. He does "big" works, so I get his scraps. There is Elm, Maple, Paduak, Walnut and Cherry in the bunch!
  10. That would be awesome. Thanks. My scroll saw email is [email protected]
  11. Both look great. I love the pattern. Where did you find it?
  12. Interesting - one of the big complaints is the pull out section. Wouldn't it be interesting if they produced the magazine but with links to the electronic copy listed instead of the pull out section. Just a thought. I have an independent book store a couple of blocks from me. They carry a number of wood magazines including SSWC. I have also had them order in books from FC so I don't have to pay the shipping costs.
  13. Sorry you feel that way Wichman. Sometimes, the way a question is asked can be misinterpreted, which would give you the wrong answers. I know that I have had some interesting answers to some of my questions. And like Ray, when I read back the question, after a while, I go "Duh!!!, what was I asking?" Thanks to everyone for taking time to respond and help.
  14. Great job. It will certainly mean a great deal to her.
  15. There are so many to choose from. I am eyeing up some tulips right now.
  16. My renewal doesn't run out until Sept 2025. Hopefully it is still in production.
  17. Looking good!
  18. That's what they did a number of years ago. Took my DeWalt in, got it back & took it home. Tested it and drove back to the service centre. A week later, the sent me a brand new one! Now I have an extra table top!
  19. What a great, detailed bird house. Now you will have to start the village!
  20. Great cutting. Looks awesome
  21. I quoted just a small part of your comment. Just ignore!
  22. What part sounded difficult? Don't forget, I am in Canada and in Winnipeg (at least) it seems very challenging to find what you folks in the States seem to be able to get at the corner store.
  23. Thank you all for the comments. I appreciate every one.
  24. Thanks for this info. I just recently built a flip top cart to house a bench grinder, turned into sanding station and my belt sander. I put the sanding mop on the left side. First time I used the flex shaft sander, on the right side, I saw movement on the left. When I turned the grinder off, the flaps of the mop were all over the workroom.. First task today is to change the grinder!!
