  1. Thanks Rocky
  2. Those are very cute! Thanks for the compliment!
  3. Another one for the books. This was a request from a co-worker for her nephew. Steve Good pattern. Personalized the collar. Walnut craft plywood from KJP Hardwoods. The dog is poplar. Not sure what the collar is, just a small piece from the "garbage bin". Finished with tung-oil.
  4. That was my mother-in-law's name.
  5. Couldn't call it a piggy bank but here is a creation for my granddaughter, Camryn Rose. She was born on our anniversary 3 weeks ago. This is to go with the light that I made for her. Steve Good design. Used some thin plexi sandwiched between the layers. Not my prettiest work but not bad for designing on the go! It will serve its purpose.
  6. Hopefully in MB I should be eligible by end of week next week for shot 2. Can't wait!!!
  7. That is beautiful work. Is it raised off the backer? It looks like it is because of shadowing.
  8. I took it to be Please!
  9. Hope that it heals quickly and fully. I no longer use my table saw. I think my neighbour has borrowed it more in the last couple of years. I have also glued a backer on the wrong side!!!
  10. I had a Rigid model which I sold - it ended up sitting on the floor because I didn't have any counter space for it. I now have the small Wen sander and quite like it.
  11. I purchased the insets from a local repair shop who ordered them from King. I then took the set screw to a local bolt supply house and purchased 1/2 dozen set screws. It was way cheaper than ordering from any usual places.
  12. Well done.
  13. Here are some of the projects I have done that have "Gone to the Birds"
  14. I am jealous. I saw his facebook posting but to ship to Canada would make it way to expensive.
  15. I was thinking the same thing! Hope all is well Scott!
  16. Great job on both. My preference is the one on the right.
  17. Looks great. If you want to do a themed chess set, the link that Scrappile posted also has a nautical themed chess set. I started that set about 5 years ago.... still working on it. LOL
  18. I just looked to see how long I have been a member and wow,, 2014. It certainly has been a great learning experience. THANK YOU ALL, Especially TRAVIS for this great site. I belong to others but this is the only one that is part of my regular morning routine. I also am a member on a number of facebook sites but generally just skip by them. Those ones I joined more for the patterns than anything else. I also get Steve's email daily. This however is where I seem to learn the most from. I don't always post much as I seem to only have time on the weekends to cut and this year fells like it has been a little more challenging for a number of reasons.
