  1. You make it very hard to continue with the current project. So easy to get distracted with your amazing patterns!!
  2. I didn't actually watch the video first. Just did now, lovEly!
  3. If anyone is into watching This Is Us (great show), they did an episode that featured this song - very interesting history on the story of the song. I love this song.
  4. Personally I would use Tung Oil. I also now have a spray can of quite sheer gold that I would use. It give a nice "sparkle" to things without really changing the colour. I used it on my layered dragonflies. Don't know if it shows up very well but here are the dragonflies I did.
  5. I haven't actually opened them. Using up some others on the current project. I have no worries that they will be great.
  6. I have been saving the paper part of the shelf liner and use that for any glue I use. When done, just scrunch it up and throw it away. Or I have left the glue to dry and it will just "shatter" into small bits, throw that away and still have a piece of paper to use. I use the side that the shelf line was stuck to, not the "back" side.
  7. I cut one last year?! Love how you have it on a stand instead of hanging!1
  8. We live in the same city, just doing the whole social distancing thing. I work in a business that gets walk in traffic. Up until Thursday late afternoon, we were still open. Most of the business could be done over the phone. Just being extra cautious. Just after the birth, my daughter was in hospital for a month, diagnosed with Lupus. Don't want to take any chances. We "face timed" yesterday!! Love technology these days!!!
  9. Missing it only because of the social distancing thing. If things improve by Tuesday, or I feel more relaxed about it, we will go over.
  10. Just finished this for my Grandson. Hopefully we will see him at Easter. Missing his 2nd birthday on Tuesday.
  11. I have been using Unicorn Spit! Also acrylic paints.
  12. Going to order a few. Thanks for the freebie. I was going to order the dogs but I find them a little creepy!!
  13. Nope, a boarder!!!
  14. I have a friend whose Welsh terrier shreds tp all the time!
  15. Getting stocked up in case I have to self isolate!!! 1/4 and 1/8 Baltic birch ply some Cherry and rainbow poplar.
  16. Doesn't the large hose/pipe get in the way of cutting?? Obstruct your view???
  17. Thanks for the video. I just bought some shelf liner at the dollar store. It is white. Don't care about it being clear. $1.25 per roll. For what I cut, should last a while.
  18. Mike, Can you show a picture of how you mount the underside. I just bought the Seyco dust collector and still haven't used it much, but know that something has to change for it to be more stable. Barb
  19. Wish there was one in Winnipeg!
  20. I only wish the prices here were decent. Ended up, with exchange, costing $290 Canadian. Original invoice was $210.
  21. The way my week is shaping up, wont get back to the saw until Sunday! . The bit of dust that is visible is from cutting a bunny and one ring for a bowl. Both were pine. What impressed me was not having a pile of sawdust on my knee at the end of a session!
  22. I thought the 5 gallon would be way to much volume for the amount of cutting. I was looking for something smaller. Also saw all kinds of YouTube videos. Knowing me, on some things I would just rather buy than reinvent!
  23. There was a bunch of negative reviews after the one that Steve Good originally did. One of the reasons I didn't go with the scrollnado
