  1. That is a good idea for the eyes!! Welcome to the village, I see this is number one of what I hope of 100s more.
  2. Brown
  3. I have a piped system for the bigger equipment. With the collection machine behind the wall for sound and space. Small equipment hooked up to shop vac.
  4. I got some of the baby soda bottles an mark on the lid what is inside. Also put the paper discretion that comes with the blades into the bottle. Just took a piece of plywood an made holes for bottles.
  5. I have my shop vac hose ran through the wall. So no noise. Also use a dust deputy with it.
  6. Both are made with red oak. Pattern is from the pattern library and was made by Kris Matinson. I wanted to try making something different for the frames. Wanted a more 3D look so put panel in what would be normally backwards. An other one wanted to try 8 sided frame.
  7. I posted sometime back if anyone has heard anything about Namunolie. For those who don’t know him he is a pattern maker in South Korea. I got a PM from him today. The best I could make out of his message is he had a lot of rain in his area. So he had to move to a new shop. Was away from computer stuff for couple of months. Have to say his English is better then my Korean lol.
  8. I have a router, 6” jointer and the down draft box on the table. I picked up the empty table at a auction for $10.00 lol. No one knew what it was I guess. No I wouldn’t spend $375 on one. It is nice to have in a small shop. Maybe worth $100 to me.
  9. Mine has baffles in it like a V to make the dust go into the middle. Hooked up to central dust collection.
  10. There is a guy who sometimes post his work on here and he only uses a hand held fretsaw.
  11. Yes a solid foundation will make for less vibration. Mine is on the factory frame setting on concrete floor. No vibration.
  12. Have to tell this. I drive school bus an have a third grade boy who is very smart. So I made one of the puzzles for him. Had it apart in half minute. He was so proud, until I told him to put it back together lol. He was never so quiet trying to get it back. No he didn’t figure it out. Need one for each kid to work lol
  13. When I got my EX21 I put a piece of wood against the back of the blade. With the saw running I adjusted it until the wood stopped moving by being hit by the blade. Again not sure if you can adjust yours.
  14. Really like the way you kept the wood grain going around the frame. Good craftsmanship!
  15. Kris Matinson was good enough to make this pattern available to us! I used his idea to stain the background darker. I raised Christ to give it more deep. Cut with FD new spirals an pegas #3 MG. My wife found three of these frames at goodwill several years ago. Finally found a use.
  16. Like the marketing idea!
  17. Anybody heard from Namunolie? I sent him a message 5 days ago but haven’t heard back.
  18. I really like the frame you made. Did you cut the curve inside corners after you put it together?
  19. I was able to meet him at a wood show. He is as he seems, a good guy.
  20. Made this for a wedding that is going to be on Halloween. Each guest is to sign a bat.
  21. I have a I Phone. Go to cloud find picture you want. Download to were you want it to go. Once in PC can edit as needed.
  22. I would go with a black background. Hard to see in the color ones.
  23. Speaking for myself what would we do without the pattern makers? Without a good pattern you can’t get a good project.
  24. Not to long ago Frank made a comment about a picture I posted. Now I will tell the truth it did upset me at the time. BUT after thinking about it he was 100% RIGHT. My photo was CRAP. People we won’t improve if everyone tells us we are great! I for one appreciate a person like Frank who gives constructive comments. My 2 cents worth lol
