  7. Hey Tony, the puzzle blades are for cutting jigsaw puzzles. The typically are a #3/0 which is much to thin for 3/4" wood. For stand up puzzles I use FD UR #3. You didn't say what size you are using.
  8. Hey Steve, I have never used the Penguin blades, but I do use FD Polar #5 for the compound birdhouses.
  9. Nice work Paul!
  10. Great looking ornaments Marg, they surely will be cherished!
  11. The only advantage to using biscuits is alineing the two boards. For me it is a wasted step. When doing a glue up, I make sure the boards are properly aligned with each other before tightening the clamps. Any good woodworking glue will be all that's needed. Once cured, the joint will e stronger than the wood! I do have a biscuit jointer, but haven't used it in years. As far as a table top jointer, Hawkeye 10 said it best, it will be very limiting.
  12. That's a beauty Dan!
  13. I'm with you Paul! I don't see a reason to pay for an app when I can go to his blog and open the catalog.
  14. It's interesting it's an event that goes on during the week. Didn't see many customers in the shots.

  23. I quickly discovered it's impossible for me to take pictures while scrolling! But I did take pictures of my station. The items on the table are just a small sampling of projects I do. I took three times that amount, but only had a small table to display. The compound cut Reindeer and Dolphin are what I cut and handed out. I cut about 20 of each! Over all, it was a nice turn out, and I think I sold out the next class!
