  1. Another great looking plaque Dave!
  2. Great work Melanie! They came out great and should be cherished for a long time!
  3. Cool! Nice work!
  4. Nice looking display Rob! Keeping track of what sells will help you decide what kind of items to make for the next time. Also keep track of customer request.
  5. Some nice work Joey!
  6. Good to have you back Edward! I think Square is great. I had a show last week and more than half of the sales was by credit card. I use my full size iPad with a hotspot for cell service. Have never had a problem!
  7. Another great project Kris!
  8. Great work Blake! Thanks for sharing.
  9. Beautiful work Monti! It's been great watching you progress through this hobby!
  10. You're a scrolling machine Dan, nice work!
  11. Nice one William?
  12. Don, I don't know who designed it, but you can find the article at woodgears.ca. I cut these when I do demos at the Woodcraft store. Just like the article shows, I save the waste cuts and turn them into pins. I give these pins away at shows.
  13. Rolf, I have a Dust Deputy hooked up to my random orbital sander only. I sand all my wood blanks with this setup. I clean the filter in the shop vac once a year. That's how effective the Dust Deputy is!
  14. Nice work John!
  15. Try Sloan's Woodshop. They sell Olson blades and shipping is not so bad.
  16. To add to what has already been said, I sand the blank to finish grit, usually 220 grit before I cut. Then after cutting, I use a folded piece of 220 grit sandpaper to touch up any fuzzies. if the right blade and cutting techniques are use, I never have to sand the edges or inside cuts.
  17. If I'm cutting pieces from inside the stack, I use the hot glue method. If the edges are part of the piece, I use blue painters tape on the edges to keep the stack together.
  18. Looks great Paul!
  19. Beautiful work Larry, you should be proud!
  20. Dull and too fast a speed. Next time try on scrap wood, slow the speed down till it doesn't burn but cuts cleanly. Make sure you use a sharp drill bit.
  21. Beautiful work Dan!
  22. Some very nice items Monti!
  23. Paul, I'm not an expert on vacs, but I do have my dust collector hooked up to my scroll saw. I have it hooked up to a remote control. I turn it on when I start cutting and leave it on until I'm done cutting. A dust collector is a lot quieter than a vac, but it can still be loud. When I'm scrolling I either am listening to music or a NASCAR race or football game, so I always have headphones on.
  24. Great work Joe!
  25. Congratulations Jim, it is well deserved!
