  1. My son and his family moved there a year ago, and I can't stand missing out on my grandson's life. To me, KC will be the best place on earth, because that's where my family is.
  2. Hi Larry. I'm a fellow scroller, and I'm moving to the Parkville area in 6-10 months. Just wanted to say hello and ask if you have any tips for scroll saw supplies, etc. for your area.

  3. That jerk (Gov. Brown and his cronies) is a big part of why we are leaving. This place is getting downright dangerous.
  4. Thanks, Dave. I'll need a good lumber supply outfit.
  5. They're gonna have one more when I get there....I'm taking my crazy little woman with me. Haha.
  6. Hi fellow scroll saw artists. I am planning to move to Kansas City, MO before the end of this year, and I need help finding supplies outlets and local scroll saw groups. Any help will be appreciated. And if there are any fellow scrollers in that area, please let me know.
  7. Thanks, everyone. I'm glad to be a part of this group, so I can get feedback from all of you.
  8. I use GIMP a LOT. I'll try to help you as much as I can.
  9. I made this for my daughter-in-law to give to her mom.
  10. This pattern was inspired by a photo from Jess R Lee.
  11. This pattern took about 5 hours. It was quite complicated.
  12. Lew, I might publish a book of patterns someday, so I don't want to post this one. If you email me, I will give it to you. [email protected]
  13. Pattern design and cutting by me.
  14. No trouble at all. I have been using it exclusively for two years, so it's almost like an extension of my own body when I'm cutting.
  15. Another fan request. Pattern and cutting my me. 8 x 10" Baltic Birch. Pegas 2/0 spiral blades.
  16. I have gotten so comfortable with the "spirals" that I don't think I could go back to using anything else. The Pegas 2/0 Spirals are awesome.
  17. A necessary evil, as I see it.
  18. Thanks to all of you for your kind comments. It means a lot to be appreciated by such a talented group of artists.
  19. If you mean the cuts around the outside of the bird, it is just cutting in attempt to make some grass/reeds to give some perspective. I use a Pegas 2/0 spiral blade for all of my cutting.
  20. Anot.her mallard. Pattern design by me. 8" x 10"
  21. I cut this at the request of a John Wayne fan in a Facebook group. Easy cutting, only about 65 cuts. 5" x 7". Pat3tern design by me.
  22. Great cutting. I love this scene. I learned to drive in a truck exactly like this one, owned by my Grandparents, then given to my parents.
  23. Hey Charlie. I know what you are going through. I've had three cervical surgeries, myself. Wishing you a great recovery and hoping that this fixes the problem. Let me know how you're doing while you recover.
  24. Thank all of you for your comments. This is what keeps me scrollin'.
  25. Very nice. My grandson would love one of these.
