  3. Just another scenery pic that I cut two weeks ago.
  4. I designed and cut this pattern last week. I'm a big fan of Hawaiian art.
  5. OK fellow scrollers, I backed myself into a corner and I desperately need help to complete a project. I cut four plywood panel pictures that I want to use to make a lamp for my son. I was able to make the panels just fine, but I have no idea how to assemble them into a four-sided lamp. Each panel is 4" x 10" x 3/8". I want to have a lighted base and a top on it. Any good ideas of how to assemble it would be greatly appreciated.
  6. Not this one. I might compile a book someday and I want this one to be in it.
  7. I used a Pegas 2/0 spiral for the entire piece.
  8. I use the Pegas 2/0 Spirals for all my cuts.
  9. I made the pattern using GIMP2.
  10. This one took a LOT of little cuts. Worth it, though.

  17. From my "What the hell was I thinking" Department, my latest cutting. This beast has 1220 cuts! It's 11"x14"x1/4" Baltic Birch ply. Pegas 2/0 spiral blade. Pattern designed by me. Approximate cutting time 24 hours.
  18. I just cut this scroll saw portrait of S.F. Giants catcher, Buster Posey, for a friend. Pattern desinged by me using GIMP2. Pegas 2/0 spiral blades, 1/4" Baltic Birch ply.
  19. I'm so glad you asked. I gave this very careful consideration. I made my pattern with the stage in and out of the picture. In the end, I decided that The Beatles are the most important focus of my portrait, and I didn't want the distraction of the stage. This is such an iconic picture in the memory of those of us who lived in this magical era of music. Oh...I also knew that I could always go back and add the stage if it looked wrong to me. I am quite pleased with the way it looks now, and given all the comments it has garnered on social media, I think I'll leave it as is.
  20. I just finished cutting The Beatles on Ed Sullivan. 11 x 14 inches. Pegas 2/0 spiral blades. Pattern designed by me using GIMP2. No stain or finish on it yet.
  21. I love my spirals. If you aren't used to them, give yourself a bit of time to practice. Once you get it, there's no goin back...not for me anyway.
  22. My latest effort. Pattern created using GIMP2. 1/4" Baltic Birch ply. Pegas 2/0 spiral blades.
  23. I just finished cutting this. Pattern designed by me using GIMP2.
