  1. I cut this one just for fun. Thanks to Charles Schulz for the drawing.
  2. Thanks, Travis. I will post the photo of the completed cut.
  3. I added the album lettering in the empty corner of this project.
  4. What a beautiful project. You must have enormous patience and skill.
  5. Kevin, you were absolutely right. I got my answer exactly where you said. Thanks. Sadly, I won't be posting the Peanuts project.....but I want to.
  6. I started cutting a new project today, the Peanuts comic strip gang. Will I be allowed to post a picture of the cutting or does that violate some copyright rule?
  7. Thanks, Jim. I think I'll try your suggestions.
  8. Thanks for your comments. Here's the pattern that I made from which I cut this project.
  9. These are great ideas.
  10. Wow...every line you cut adds character. Great work.
  11. Outstanding portrait of my favorite actor. You did a great job with this one. Can't wait to see the others. Did you woodburn "Whiskey" on the bottle? I have often considered using that technique to add detail which is too small to cut.
  12. I cut this in a scrap piece of wood, thinking it was just for fun and practice. I like the way it turned out. Now I'm sorry I didn't use better wood. I made the pattern with GIMP from the Rubber Soul album cover photo.
  13. Beautiful!. What a great way to make your "come back". Now keep cutting.
  14. Both are useful and creative ideas. I can see these becoming hot items in high demand. Nice work!
  15. What, no apps? Ha ha....or should I say hee haw...
  16. Joe, this is really nice work. I have always used Deft Semi-gloss Clear Wood Finish (brush on), and I am very pleased with the results. Stain is a matter of personal preference. Be sure you test some colors on a scrap piece of the same wood. Different woods take on stain differently.
  17. G.Jim...as a former dentist, I got used to using magnifying loupes for intricate work. I rely on them as I'm scrolling now. Lighting is also VERY important as you have learned. Good post. "Doh!"
  18. I completely agree with JustLarry! They need to be informed.
  19. Phantom Scroller...I totally agree with you. Many great comments to this.
  20. awesome cutting and great subject. Thanks you so much for sharing and for caring.
  21. Is it just me, or does anyone else feel like they are cheating if you don't create your own pattern for your projects? I have all the respect in the world for anyone who scrolls, whether they use their own pattern or not. It's just that I really need to use a pattern that I create in order to get the satisfaction from completing a project. I must be a little more weird than I always suspected.
  22. This is awesome. The eyes look perfect.
  23. I'm with Steve...the Superman cut is a great idea.
