  1. Bee utiful! Great job. Cutting all those parallel lines so accurately demonstrates real skill. Rob

Very nice, the Chanel logo looks great. Like Marg, I hadn't realised they were so small but I like the small size. I might have to try one or two of those. Rob
  3. What about the Seyco scrollers drill? Not available here and wrong voltage too but looks pretty good? Rob
  4. Never heard of it here John. Will keep an eye out for it. Thanks, Rob
  5. Those are great. Nice to have the connection to the timber too. Well done, Rob
  6. Thanks Marg. Maybe we will get Amazon one day and can order from them. I did find a local source for Poplar recently but only in six by two inch rough sawn. They use it for truck decking apparently. Anyway, I re-sawed it and ran it through the planer/thicknesser and made some of Iggy's puzzles with it. Much, much easier and quicker to cut than the rimu I had been using. I will probably use it from now on. Rob
  7. Thanks so much to Paul aka @grampa for the fantastic pattern. This was left unframed at the customer's request. Cut with a Flying Dutchman No3 from 4mm marine ply (Baltic Birch is not available here in NZ) with 3mm painted MDF backer. Thanks for looking. Rob
  8. If the suction is too strong and collapses the bucket, another option is to add another bucket. One stacked inside the other will prevent it from collapsing. Rob
  9. This is the London house of a Kenyan poet left to the National Trust after his death and now a museum. No detail on the fretwork but impressive nonetheless. Click here for the video. Rob
  10. I wish I had taken a before picture but today I cleaned up a Jacobs chuck on a morse taper that I had neglected for years. I immersed it in white vinegar for about four hours then rinsed it in clean water. After a little work with a wire brush in a cordless drill and a wipe with WD40 it has come up almost as new. Rob
  11. I made one for my Hegner after I saw the one Scrappile made. It works well, apart from when I drop it while trying to empty it! Rob
  12. We do things slightly differently here in NZ.....
  13. Well I liked the clock but then I scrolled down.... Oooh I love that chalet box! Beautifully cut and looks stunning lit up. You really should send Pedro a picture, none of the others show it with lighting added. Well done! Rob
  14. Some nice work there. I love the bird plaques but everything else is great too! Rob

Those are excellent. Really like them! Rob
  17. Great job! Rob
  18. Oooh! I love that. Great cutting Steve. Rob
  19. I recently bought a pile of reclaimed timber and in amongst it were several short lengths of macrocarpa tongue and groove. Luckily it proved to be an ideal thickness for inlaying onto some pine offcuts I had lying around so I made these small hinged boxes using the excellent tutorial by our very own Jim Finn. Rob
  20. Such beautiful sharp cutting Les, it would be a shame to waste it. Could you somehow save the word Redeemer and use it again somehow? You've got nothing to lose. Rob
  21. Outstanding! I don't think I could bring myself to stain it. Maybe just the frame perhaps but I'd probably try an overlay frame just so I didn't stuff it up! Rob
  22. You've outdone yourself Dick. Well done! Rob
  23. Looks great Dick! Post it again once you've framed it. Rob
  24. Very nice. I cut that one myself recently. Rob

Fabulous cutting! The butterflies add a whole new dimension. Rob
