  8. Having a lot of fun making boxes lately. The pattern for this one comes from Craftsmanspace The fretwork is plywood, backed with purple card and 3mm MDF. The same card is used to line the box interior. 24 x 21 x 9cm or 10 x 8 x 3.5 inches approx made from an old drawer box. Thanks for looking. Rob

    Floral box

Here is my latest box. The design is cut from 4mm (1/8th) plywood from an old drawer bottom and the box is made from the drawer sides. 25 x 12 x 5cm or 10 x 5 x 2 inches approx. Thanks for looking, Rob

  12. Lately I've been trying some boxmaking inspired by other's efforts on here. This is cut from old rimu drawer sides as usual, finished with shellac and beeswax. 25 x 15 x 8cm or 10 x 6 x 3 inches approx. Hope you like it. Rob

  18. Assuming the fence is parallel to the blade, using a featherboard to ensure the box is held tight against the fence might help. I have also seen it suggested that you should not cut all the way through on the table saw but separate the two halves with a fine tooth saw afterwards and trim up with a block plane. I'm no expert though! Rob
