    Shoes

I asked my wife why she had so many shoes once. She immediately said "Why do you have so many drills?" I know my place. Rob
  3. Great variety of items there, all well cut. Rob
  4. That's great Steve. I love the colour and the treasure chest. Rob

Beautiful job and finish. Your letters are really crisp. Rob
  6. I quite fancy a pedal or treadle machine for craft shows etc. Here is a video of what looks to be an identical machine in action. https://youtu.be/AY2h_JWPtao Rob
  7. Good work Roly. What font is the Roxy one? Rob
  8. Lovely necklace Marg, no wonder it sold. Buy some more silver with the proceeds. Rob
  9. Great idea. They would make good teethers in maple. Rob
  10. This is the first cross I have cut and my first time cutting oak. I expected it to be hard as nails but found it actually cut quite easily. The finish is simply the original lacquered finish from the reclaimed oak shelf I used. Thanks to Birchbark for the great pattern.
  11. Great fire engine. I love the way you can see the grain through the paint. Rob
  12. Beautiful Ralph. You can really see the love you put into making those. Rob
  13. Very nice Terry. Rob
  14. That should last you a while. Then again, given your work rate, maybe not! Rob
  15. Fantastic Woodduck. Very happy for you. Do let us have your thoughts once you have had a chance to get to know it. Rob
  16. Ooh Marg, that's too hot for me! Fortunately we rarely get above 28C here (82F approx) but it has been a good summer. Certainly a great improvement over the UK. Rob
  17. Great cut. A convocation of eagles eh? You learn something new every day. Rob
  18. Lovely job and the his and hers markings should solve any arguments over whose is whose. Rob
  19. Great job. The pattern and cut are excellent and the frame compliments it perfectly. Rob
  20. Welcome to the forum Ninuninu. You did a great job on those cuttings. We have another member, Helmut, based in Germany who also works with a manual fret saw. Rob

    Labrador puppy

No pattern as such, just taken from Google Images. Rob
  23. We are collecting our new Labrador puppy this weekend so in the meantime I cut these from offcuts. I will make this one into a keyring in due course. Rob
  24. Very tidy lettering there Dave. You seem to have got the measure of your new saw in record time. Nice design too, I'm sure they will love it. Rob
  25. My pillar drill takes a 1mm bit (7/64 approx) bit with no problem but I remember Merlin posting a link to these bits on Amazon the last time this was discussed. I have not tried them personally. Rob
