  1. Well it's too small for a jewelry box although that's a great idea. I will probably add a backer and a hanger and hopefully sell it. I still can't decide if I should cut the three remaining hearts or leave them as is. I could give it to the wife for Christmas but she'd probably think it was another trivet and divorce me. Rob.

Beautifully cut. I have to agree with you on the "a". What font is it? Rob

  4. Those are lovely. Absolutely ideal ChristMOOSE presents. Rob

Excellent work. Far to good to use though surely? Rob
  13. Beautifully cut and a great choice of font. I think the oak one is my favourite but they are all great. Rob
  14. Peace plaque from a pattern by BirchBark. Cut from pine with a FDSR no5 and FDSR no3. I had to reduce the pattern to fit an offcut I had available which caused a few problems. Finished size is 23cm wide or roughly 9 inches. Rob
  15. That is a great idea Jerry. I like those a lot. Rob
  16. Kevin, I like your rectangle underneath the name to handle any letters that drop below the line. It is a very effective and simple solution. Rob
  17. Great work Jerry. Rob

Thanks for the kind comments everyone. I decided to make another, this time from reclaimed Rimu. Hope you like it. Rob
  23. Hi Steve, It is a free pattern available here: https://woodgears.ca/reindeer/scrollsaw_plans.html Rob
  24. Great job Dan. Excellent painting and decals. Rob p.s. I think I recognise Santa in the background
  25. Woodduck, I have also heard of people using a false table to get more life out of a blade. I haven't tried it myself but it would be easier than shortening the blade and no need to muck about with tension. Rob
