  1. That is such a cool idea. Let us know how it feels wearing it. It looks like you rounded over the edges a little bit? Jim
  2. Thank you everyone, I'm really enjoying burning them.
  3. This is what I'm hoping to make from the logs he has. Somewhere in this post I feel like Paul Harvey and his "The Rest Of The Story" line.
  4. Good morning everyone, a friend of mine does tree removal and he has a bunch of black walnut and maple logs that he would like me to come by and look at and see if I can use any of it. Now I have no band saw (I have been looking for one but not seriously) maybe it is time to get one. Is there anything I should steer away from on live edge logs? All the stuff I have gotten has been from Lowes or Woodcraft. I do have a planer and jointer. Thanks Jim
  5. Thanks everyone, they were a lot of fun the cut and burn. Can't wait to do a few more different letters. Thanks Jim
  6. Wow, I finally have something to brag about. I finished up the three antler patterns that were sent to me. The first one is from Birchbark The second one is from DonR And the third one is from Spirithorse Thank you all for your patterns. I like them all. Thanks Jim
  7. Congrats Iggy, just one question. Will she be buying for what inventory you have on hand or do you need to have on hand the quantities she is asking for?
  8. I like that Dan, did you design them?
  9. Found me a nice 6' piece of Poplar and am about to attach the patterns to it. I am hoping to have these all cut out on Saturday or Sunday. https://youtu.be/l7tn1nLXPB4 It is all Iggy's fault. Thanks Jim
  10. So with never living on the coast and not talking to anyone who lives on the coast. How much does this affect your daily routine Iggy? Will you still be scrolling when this hits since you have a generator?
  11. Looks great, I hope those fires are staying away from you.
  12. I'm predicting not much impact here in Colorado. Everyone stay safe and be smart out there.
  13. Thank you everybody. Hopefully by the end of the week I can have 5 or 6 Baby T-Rex done for the craftshows in November and December. Jim
  14. I have been down and out all last week with a sinus infection. But couldn't stand being cooped up anymore so I spent the last two days in the garage. I finally finished up 6 candle holders (which I had started 2 years ago) (I finally figured out how to use my router table) and cut out a cute little Baby T-Rex. Which my daughter in law now seen and told me my grandson would reallllllly like one of those. I hope you all like them and hope to have a few more done by the end of the week. Thanks for looking. Jim
  15. That is so cool Dan. I have been wanting to do something like that for Halloween.
  16. Love the bow.
  17. So hopefully by winter I will be ready to move my stuff into my side of the garage. Right now the floor is just concrete. I have a foam mat under my scroll saw right now that helps with the cold in the winter. I'm wondering about doing the whole area in the foam mat, but am concerned about rolling things around on it. Does anyone have their floor covered in these mats and if so are you able to roll things around on them? I am attaching a link to the mat I'm using now. https://www.harborfreight.com/4-piece-anti-fatigue-foam-mat-set-94635.html Thanks Jim
  18. I want your autograph before you become too famous.
  19. Awesome, thank you Iggy.
  20. Good luck Iggy, I know you're going to do awesome this weekend.
  21. Updated with pics after clear coat is applied.
  22. Hi Scott, may I ask where you find the Santa pattern at?
  23. Love the Santa puzzle Iggy. Great job.
  24. So I finally had a weekend off from racing so I thought I would try to torch some race tracks that I had cut out. This is just using a propane torch kit I bought at Lowes today. And now I have put 3 coats of spray on clear coat and this is how they look. This is on 3/4" oak plywood. Thanks Jim
