  1. Just an update. I went ahead and bit the bullet and ordered the Sawdust Management System. Should be in next week sometime.
  2. Love your clocks and the chess set is awesome.
  3. Shoot, if the motor sounds good exchange cash and go home with a big old smile on your face.
  4. Iggy started them back in 1901 I think.
  5. Mine has the plug coming out of the front of the motor also.
  6. Hi Ray, the model info is on the silver tag on the second picture behind the motor also on that tag should be the year it was made. I would check with the seller to see if he or she could get you a nice picture of that plate and see if this have is a multi-speed. Mine says it's a Multi Max and I'm assuming that means it's a multi speed. Also I'm unable to see if the dust collector is on that one. It looks like it has the quick clamp on it already which is a huge plus in my book. I've only had mine since New Years Eve so I'm pretty new at it. I'm sure one of the old timers (haha) can give you more info that what I've said. Good luck Jim
  7. Two things for me: Intarsia and Schwibbogen, at least 2 of each kind.
  8. Hi Paul, the metal tube isn't threaded right now.
  9. Here is a picture of what I'm looking at. The piece I'm wanting/needing to replace is the clear tube that runs down to the table. All the other tubing is working like it is suppose to. Sorry I wasn't in the shop this weekend doing work inside the house.
  10. Has anyone ever replaced their hose for the sawdust blower/sucker? If so what did you use? Mine is the old clear plastic tube that won't stay positioned where I put it. It has a mind of it's own. Oh and my quick clamp came in today and man that is so nice. Thanks again for everyone's help. Jim
  11. I want to say I saw the purple streaks this one time. AND it was at Lowes (of all places) not a woodworking store like WoodCraft.
  12. Hello, I'm looking for 3/4 inch thick, 10"-12" wide and then 6 foot long would be great.
  13. I also just saw that it is called Rainbow Poplar.
  14. I sure wish I had taken a picture of the two boards I bought last year with the purple in it. I was actually able to make like 4 or 6 nativities Scott posted up with the purple being the star and the tail of the star. Those pieces went really quick when I put them out at the sales this past November and December.
  15. I have been to all my wood people here in Colorado Springs and none of them have Poplar wood with purple running through it. Is anyone else finding the same thing?
  16. I just picked up two of these. I am in a 2 car garage and aim one from the overhead garage door and then the other one from the door that leads into the house. It has been keeping me warm the last couple of weeks. I still need a quilted flannel shirt to wear, but it is nice and comfortable right now. Heater
  17. Great job Kevin, but you're killing me !!! That would have taken me at least 2 weeks to do.
  18. I like making my grain corner to corner, just for something different. Just a personal preference I think.
  19. Happy New Year Ray, I hope you have a great year and make tons of saw dust.
  20. Thanks Iggy, I happened to have a lamp attached to my work table. I just moved it over to the light clamp on the Hegner and it fit perfectly.
  21. How do you all have your shop vacs hooked up to your Hegner? I didn't worry about it today. But maybe tomorrow before I start cutting puzzles out, I will look into a way of hooking up my shop vac to it.
  22. Happy New Year everyone. Everyone be safe tonight.
  23. Thanks Paul, it sure didn't look right to me either. But man that saw sure does cut nicely. Yes the table is 90 degrees to the saw blade. After I get this dragon cut out (yes my first cut has to be one of my hardest puzzles haha.) I will see if I can figure out which nuts hold the table on the frame.
  24. Does this look right to you all? Is there a way to make it to where the blade is center on this disk?
  25. Paul, how do you make the cut in the zero clearance?
