  1. Thank you everyone, my granddaughter loved her puzzle. Now onto trying to cut out a motorcycle clock.
  2. I have made decorative firewood and still do make decorative firewood. It's all part of trying new things and growing in the hobby we have.
  3. Well my granddaughters birthday party is tomorrow. So that meant I had to get finished cutting this puzzle out. It is cut out of 3/4" Poplar and lightly sanded with a Mac Mop. Here it is. Thank you Iggy for the pattern. Thanks for looking.
  4. I must be slacking because I only have about 5 different blades and they are either FD or Olson. I need to buy more blades.
  5. I use 3M77 on both my picture and the board I'm applying it to. Then I use Deft (I think it's called) over the picture to give it a little bit of protection.
  6. Hi Les, can you tell us what you think of your two bandsaws? What do you and don't you like about them? I have been looking for like a 10" bandsaw but can't decide on what to get. Thanks Jim
  7. I had made a set of reindeer and santa sleigh to put up outside. And my sister said "you know what, you need to make a smaller sleigh for inside". So at the time I was using a jigsaw to cut the outside reindeer and sleigh. Somehow someone said what I needed was a scroll saw. So that's what I got and have been hooked ever since. Jim
  8. Here is a video of my 2 car garage I'm slowly making into my workshop. Workshop I'm hoping in time, I will get a 10" bandsaw and a lathe along with a heater for the winter time.

  12. I've never had that problem. And in fact the dinosaur I just cut out yesterday had the shelf liner on it for close to 4 weeks. It came right off yesterday with no problem.

  14. I have that same issue. So I keep all my blades away from the scroll saw and only have a package of the blades I'm using next to the saw.

  20. I won't use electrical items in the storms. But I will hand sand some stuff or try and stain things, stuff like that.

  23. I am wanting to oil my Hegner saw. I know people are saying they use a 3 in 1 oil. When I look up what Lowe's has, there is quite a few different ones. Can someone give me more info on which one you use. Thanks Jim
