  1. Awesome job Pete, I really like this one.
  2. The Woodcraft here in Colorado Springs shows this one Dave. https://www.woodcraft.com/search?brand[]=King+Industrial&button=search&q=scroll+saw Jim
  3. Here in Colorado Springs we had about the same as Rockytime. It was nice to see, but by the end of today all of ours will be gone.
  4. I bought a Kobalt 10-in Carbide-tipped 15-Amp Table Saw from Lowes a year or two ago and have been really happy with it.
  5. Congrats and you can never have too many blades and lumber.
  6. Hi Tom, I don't know if this is of any help. But I notice a chopping/knocking noise on my Hegner 18v just before the blade pops out of the upper blade holder. When I hear it happening, if I hear it early enough I can check the upper blade clamp and sure enough the blade has slipped down in the holder. Then I just put it back in and load it back up and then everything is hunky dory. Like I said, I don't know if this helps or not. Hopefully it does though. Jim
  7. I went to the Castle Rock Craft Show and did really well. Had a lot of foot traffic, sold all my Christmas Trees along with many other things. Welp gotta start making more trees for my next show. Also had a lady stop by and wanted to know if I would sell her some of my stuff at a wholesale price because she is wanting to put them into her store where she sells only Colorado Made items. I'm still thinking about that. Well here is a video of my booth and yest I will be back there again next year. Craft Show Display Thanks for looking. Jim
  8. Wow, I couldn't even imagine cutting something like that. I hope you post the finished project.
  9. Hey Ray, my shop vac came with a hard plastic tube that is the same sized opening as the shop vac hose. I just heated up the pvc and when it soften up, I just pressed the end of the hard plastic tube into it, then cooled it off with the running tap water then pulled out the hard plastic tube and pushed in the shop vac hose and it was okey dokey.....for me. Like I said it ain't pretty but it is functional and that is what matters to me. Here is the link to the shop vac I picked up and below the hose in the picture you can see that two tubes that I use one of. Shop Vac
  10. I used a propane torch to soften up the end of my Tee PVC pipe then was able to fit the end of my 2" hose into it and then cooled it down with running it under tap water. That is the brown pieces of pvc pipe you see at the tee adapter. Not pretty but it works.
  11. They are 3/4" Katie.
  12. I agree with Paul on the price of the pliers. But man am I glad I bought them. Made my day a lot easier.
  13. Hey Kevin, I bought mine off Amazon. Loc Line I ordered two more pieces of the line so I can extend the upper pieces. I am very happy with the set up so far. It is nice to be able to walk into the shop and not walk into a haze like before. Thanks Paul, yeah I think I'm going to like it also.
  14. Thanks Les and Ray, I'm hoping it will be better in the shop in the near future. I had went all summer with no shop vac and didn't realize how bad it was in there till I had replaced the filter on my respirator one afternoon and worked in the shop for about 4-5 hours and when I took off the respirator there was brown dust caked on the inside. That was the time I decided I had to do something while I was still able to. I will let everyone know how it works. I will be going into the shop pretty soon and work some. Thanks Jim
  15. Well hopefully what I got accomplished today will help clear up the air in the garage. Made up two dust collectors, one for each of the scroll saws and hung a air filtration system. Hopefully these will help reduce some of the saw dust in there. Oh yeah, I also went and bought a larger shop vac. This one has 170's cfm's compared to the one before that only had 60 cfm's.
  16. Yes, please let us know how it works Ray. I've been thinking about getting one. Jim
  17. We're always looking out for you Iggy.
  18. Good job Rocky, you will have to let us know how it works for you. That would be nice when you're sitting I think. Jim
  19. I'll take that saw off your hands Iggy. Shoot, I'll even drive there and pick it up from you. And yes, I'm a non-profit to. You can ask my tax guy.
  20. Hey mine has the same thing. I might have to try this and see how it works. Thanks Jim
  21. I like that magnetic tray. I might have to HF to get me one for my saws.
  22. I'm worried about the blade up there on top. My luck, it would fall down on me.
  23. It looks like the serial number is S300394190. This is the best I could do with the picture of it.
  24. That is great news Iggy, I'm sure you breathed a sigh of relief seeing this and hearing from your neighbor.
  25. Thank you Kevin and John T. I will head to Lowes tomorrow and get me a set of pin punches and get that pin out. I knew using a hammer would be a mistake. So I will try pushing it out with something else while supporting the opposite side of the arm. Jim
