I finally put pictures away for the time being and cranked up the old scroll saw. This Nativity Scene is cut out of 3/4" Poplar and it is a Steve Good Pattern. I will probably cut a couple out of Walnut and clear coat them.
Thanks for looking

I was looking at the same one Rockytime, from the looks it looked like it might have been a 22". But after I talked to her I saw it was only a 14", so I decided to pass on it. Good luck, I hope it works well for you.
My VS226 with a serial number of 6319 was made in 1996 and my other VS226 with a serial number of 10961 was made in 1999. They both are running great. Congrats on your new scroll saw.

So a motorcycle asked to be make and paint him 1 of my motorcycles in Fluorescent Orange. This is made out of 3/4" Poplar with one coat of Florescent Red-Orange paint on it. Wow it's bright. Just a fair warning "please get your sunglasses".
This is a Steve Good pattern.
Thanks

Well I was finally able to get back into my garage today to work at the scroll saw since Jan. I have been busy woodburning, sanding and staining about 150 bases for a friend of mine. Man am I glad that is done. So these were my first two projects that I started and finished today. The cat was the first one just to get back into the scroll saw then I tried the Paint Pony. I'm very happy with the way they turned out.
Thanks for looking and sorry for being away so long.

Nice set up Ray, but that looks way to clean. You need to get some sawdust in there. I hope you like your Hawk. I love my two, just wish they were a little taller so I wouldn't have to sit down while using them.

I've been out taking pictures this past week and came away with a few I wanted to share with you all.
I am hoping to get back out again this coming week after everyone goes back to work.
Thanks for looking

Hello everyone, I'm trying to figure out how to add lights to my solid Christmas Trees. These are 12" tall and 8" wide at the bottom and 1-1/2" thick. They are made our of solid board. I'm attaching a picture of what one looks like. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Jim
