  1. For drilling in the center of larger fret work.
  2. I would love to have one that would hold a #70.
  3. How small of a bit will it hold?
  4. I agree. A large table would be a must. I don't need that much travel very often and when I do I have a Seyco drill. It's always hard to decide on what piece of equipment to buy.
  5. I am needing a new drill press and this caught my eye. Thought it would be nice for drilling fretwork. I would appreciate your input.
  6. Awesome pattern and cutting!
  7. Really fine detail. Nice cutting.
  8. I would try to get her to price them.
  9. Awesome job Marg!
  10. I read a while back to mix the saw dust with shellac instead of wood glue. I tried it last week and it worked well.
  11. Love it. Nice job! Looks great in that frame.
  12. That is sure crazy Jeff. How many holes? Great job!
  13. You're right. I wasn't meaning to exclude the women here.
  14. Been here since 15. Bought my first saw thinking that maybe it might be something to do with my grandsons. They had no interest. I was lucky to find this site right away. Everyone here was great at jump starting me into a new addiction. I couldn't have found a better place and group of guys. I'm not much of a writer so I don't post very much but I sure do enjoy reading many of your post.
  15. The yellow heart is all that I have bought since the lumber price jump but I'm sure it has gone up.
  16. I use it for intarsia and some of my inlays. I love working with it also. I can get most kinds of woods locally but no one currently has yellow heart.
  17. Received 10 BDF of yellow heart today not cheap but I was happy to find some. It's a full 1" thick and very nice quality. It's a bit redder than what I've had in the past. With shipping it came to $22 BDF. That stuff sure is heavy. Weighs lbs. It will probably last me the rest of my life. DiamondTropicalHardwoods.com
  18. Love it! Cool piece of poplar?
  19. Looks great! That one is a tough one with all the little points.
  20. Wow! 1/2" purple heart is a challenge to inlay as hard as it is.
  21. Hope you are having a Happy Birthday!
  22. They can sure wear a person out though.
  23. I have always left the quick clamp loose. You have convinced me to try it tight.
  24. My grandsons are plenty old but have no interest at all.
