  1. Are the super sharp worth the money using them for compound cutting?
  2. What a kind gesture. Glad it hear you are doing better.
  3. Thank you Jim for sharing such an awesome pattern.
  4. If I were making it I would be probably make a frame either 2" or 2 1/2" wide. I used black Minwax stain on the backer and frame.
  5. I read the reviews and they weren't great pertaining to the back.
  6. Got my new stool and love it. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07F8NXBXD?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_product_details The height range works perfect for me. If I were short it might not. I'm not used to a stool with wheels but after one time hitting the floor I caught on quickly.
  7. Occasionally if the humify is super high I have to add retarder.
  8. I have that gun. I would recommend getting the fine finish cup for it. I use Sherman Williams Pre catalyzed lacquer. Thin it about 50%. Been spraying with it for about 3 years and love it. I always leave lacquer in the gun...........soak the tip in thinner only when it needs it.
  9. My table will not move at all. Has you saw always been like that?
  10. Too cute!
  11. Don't see the seat height. Am I missing something?
  12. I sure like the height range it has. Price might be a bit high for me.
  13. The seat on my Harbor Freight one it totally shot.
  14. I use two stools in my shop. One at my scroll saw and the other at my work bench. It's far enough away that it would be a pain to move it back and forth so I need a new one.
  15. i have a craftsman also..........that is the one that the pneumatics doesn't work on.
  16. Need a new stool bad. Let me know if you have one you really like. I have one with a pneumatic adjustment on the seat height but it didn't last long at all I hesitate buying another one like that. I also have one that is a Harbor Freight cheapy and it is shot. It has no adjustment at all. Sure would like to be able to adjust the height. Would love some opinions.
  17. Not much holding the head on.
  18. Love to see a picture what you are working on.
  19. I haven't done any work to it and won't. The last thing I want to do is screw it up. I would think if you cut the stop off and put a new one lower when a blade brakes the top arm would snap up harder. Tinkering with equipment isn't my thing. I would much rather be making something.
  20. When I was ready to buy a saw a Hawk wouldn't be available for over a month and I was able to get a Hegner within a week. I bought my Hegner a little over four years ago. I scroll about 6 hours a day. I would guess I use my Pegas about an hour of that. I like my Pegas but I don't think is will hold up like my Hegner. I use it mainly when I'm doing something large and want to top feed and also my inlay work. The cost of the parts aren't even a factor for me on my Hegner since I have never had to buy a thing for it. One blade holder will hold every blade I use. The only two complaints I have with it is that I can't top feed with it and it would be nice if the top arm would raise a bit higher. I would buy another one in a heart beat.
  21. I bought an Excalibur a few years ago off of Amazon. It was a total piece of crap. Bought a Pegas when they first came out and like it a lot.
  22. Awesome work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  23. Congrats on the show. I use 8" x 12" wraps that I bought from Paper Mart. They seem to work great for me.
