  1. I, on the other hand, contacted Marcus and got a set of knobs and I'm very pleased with them. I actually only used the large one on the bottom of the saw and it is exactly what I needed. Before I put the know on, after many hours of scrolling fretwork, My fingers would become sore of tightening and loosing the screw. But now, It doesn't hurt anymore. I don't tighten it more but it is more of the comfort and lack of pain that I really like. By the way, it was a great pleasure working with Markus and received my knobs in 3 days! Great service!
  2. That is a fantastic idea! I think you would do great!
  3. The walleye looks great!, In my experience, cutting thin wood like that, I always try to stack cut them, Stacking slows your cut down and it acts as support on the back side. Added bonus is that you might get two done at the end!
  4. I have a local furniture maker that puts all his off-cuts in a bin outside for people to pic. Over the past year I've collected more wood for me to last at least 10 years.

  22. Hi from the Burlington, Vermont area, I've been scrolling for around 15 years now but only recently have I done so to sell my work. My craft has always been for presents for family and friends and I have enjoyed doing it. 2 years ago, my daughter needed to do some found raising so; I decided to help her by making ornaments. Needless to say that I got addicted to making all these ornaments and to all the positive feedback and encouragement that I got at the many craft fairs I attended. I now make a lot more than just ornaments and just discovered this community and cannot believe how much information there is on this site. Here is a trophy I made for the Champlain Valley Hardwater tournament series. Ended up needing to make 8!!!
