  4. I finished all five 3D Veterans patterns by Steve Good. The wood is unknown. Cut on the Pegas Scroll Saw using Pegas #5R MGT Blades. A little tear out on the backside, but due to the grain of the wood. After sanding, dipped in diluted Shellac, another light sanding, and a final coat of spray Lacquer Clear Satin. Comments welcome.

  22. As a frame shop, I have access to all sorts of framing material, so this would be difficult to answer.

  24. The rule of thumb is 3 teeth in contact with the wood at all times. I would suggest a #1 FD UR blade.
