  1. I purchased the Seyco Cyclone Dust Collection system and attached it to the Pegas. Works great, but does not have a top pickup.
  2. A very bice project and framed too!
  3. It is not a finish, but I dip many projects in diluted Shellac, diluted 50% with denatured alcohol
  4. I have a short video on YouTube on replacing the tension lever. My channel is ArtCrafters Scroll Saw.
  5. I think the smallest I made was 1 inch. Suggestion on the "6" use a fount that is scroller friendly.
  6. Welcome to the Village forum from Tennessee. As a Pegas dealer, I may be able to help if you have any Pegas Scroll Saw questions.
  7. Very impressive. Looks like you are a master with the Spiral blades.
  8. That sure is beautiful. Great idea of the backer for stability. Nice frame too!
  9. Very well done.
  10. If the pattern is too large for the printer, I draw a line down the center and print each half then line up the pieces.
  11. Thanks Paul. So true.
  12. Thank you. Lots of fun.
  13. That is a wonderful project. I am sure it will be appreciated.
  14. Thanks RJ
  15. Dog Puzzle - Dachshund pattern by Harvey Blyer. I used 3/4" Poplar 6" x 9". Cut on the Pegas Scroll Saw using Pegas #3 MG Blades. After cutting, lightly sanded with a Mac Mop, dipped in diluted Shellac, and another light sanding. Comments welcome.
  16. Welcome to the Village forum from Tennessee. As a Pegas dealer, if you have any questions, I would be pleased to help.
  17. I sell Pegas blades and the biggest reason is blade slippage which affects tension. The biggest reason for blade slippage is the setscrew or thumb screw.
  18. A little too far from Dayton, TN
  19. Very nice and thanks for sharing,
  20. That is a mighty fine project
  21. Thanks Dave. Fun to make, but did take some time.
  22. Thanks, RJ. Now ready for Veterans Day.
  23. I finished all five 3D Veterans patterns by Steve Good. The wood is unknown. Cut on the Pegas Scroll Saw using Pegas #5R MGT Blades. A little tear out on the backside, but due to the grain of the wood. After sanding, dipped in diluted Shellac, another light sanding, and a final coat of spray Lacquer Clear Satin. Comments welcome.
  24. Wow, that is mighty fine.
  25. You might want to check The Art Factory, Karen Boelman's site since you might buy Dirk's book
