  1. Welcome to the forum from TN. Yes, you are starting out on a great saw. here is a book I recommend to beginners, Scroll Saw Workbook by John A. Nelson. Go through each lesson and you wont be a newbie anymore.
  2. You are the letter box man.
  3. You are sure cranking them out.
  4. Looks real good, Dick. Around here, the Red Hat Society is very popular.
  5. How cute is that. Sure turned out great.
  6. Wonderful looking projects, Katie. I really like the woodpecker.

  8. Thanks, glad you are back posting.
  9. Very nice thoughts, Jerry. What a great feeling when someone likes what you do.
  10. Thanks Dick. I do many of Sue's patterns, but never purchased the e-zine.
  11. As a framer, I will agree with everyone on the frame. The cutting is something special. As a scroller, I know how much time was put into the project. I am new to the forum, who is Neptun?
  12. A beautiful piece to donate. Is it going to be an auction or outright purchase?
  13. A fantastic letter box and nicely decorated by the customer.
  14. What a great looking plaque. She should be well pleased. Is it your pattern?
  15. Great work on the inlay. Nice wood contrast. Excellent all around.
  16. I saw that pattern quite some time ago in SWWC. I thought at that time that it looks like a lot of gluing. Great looking project.
  17. Sorry to hear that Paul is not responding. It is important to have good customer relations. My flex shaft from Seyco broke. I called Ray on Monday and the replacement was one the step Wednesday.
  18. You are sure one busy scroller.
  19. What great comments. I don't believe in the statement, 'Kids will be kids'. Kids will be what parents let them be. In our store, we have kids art and craft classes. In variably one will start to walk around the store handling art and craft. We sure let the parent know that handling is unacceptable.
  20. Welcome to the forum from Tennessee. Show some of your work. We like to share.
  21. Everything looks great. We are always our own worst critics.
  22. You did a great job on that cutting. They will love it.
  23. For my framed projects, I use mat board because they are free (we own a frame shop). Poster board will work, but it is thinner. Check with a local custom frame shop. They may have small pieces of mat board free.
  24. I looked at the Dust Deputy, but I haven't purchased. With more reports like these, I may have to purchase.
  25. Not sure how to reply to the question by laust18, but I cut the perimeter as the last cut, sand with a well used Mac Mop, then finish.
