  1. Great cutting on that wonderful pattern.
  2. Very nice. I saw that one on Steve Good's email. Way to go.
  3. Kevin, The first eight patterns are found in CWWC May, 2011. Additional patterns are on Diana Thompson's site, I think run by Scroller.
  4. Wow nice going on the Miniature Birdhouses. As for attaching the pattern to the blank, I copy the patterns to contact paper, then cover with packing tape. After the first cut keep the blank in stock and wrap again with packing tape. I also drill a hole in the base of the bird blank to fit the dowel. For the dowels, I use wood skewers.
  5. Well done. Great design.
  6. Great work with the spiral blades.
  7. Very nice cutting and pattern.
  8. Great looking plaque. I agree don't stain cherry. It is beautiful with penetrating oil and poly.
  9. Welcome to the forum from TN. Take some time and post pictures of your projects.
  10. The choice of wood is whatever you have. I use either 1/2" or 3/4" thick wood with Butcher Block Oil finish. Patterns are all over, just find one you like.
  11. Welcome to the forum from Tennessee, Alexei. Great to see people from around the world.
  12. Glad the wife caught the mistake, but what a great correction.
  13. Well done. Dis you use a different wood for the butterflies?
  14. Very nice order. I hate repetition. Someone came into the store and wanted 5 x 7 frames to replace her current frames. Gulped when she said 26 frames. I make 5 a day and finished the last one today.
  15. I have never used it. I prefer mat boards as they are free to me.
  16. Great looking owl. Looks like a Sue Mey pattern.
  17. Wow, thanks for are the fine comments. For those who have never done compound cutting, it is very easy and to see the finished project just fall out. I can cut the birdhouse in about 20 minutes and the bird in about 5 minutes.
  18. Whatever the budget allows. Both are great saws. I have an EX21.
  19. I am sure most of you live near a custom frame shop. We have mat board fall outs which could be free or little cost. Check it out.
  20. Have fun together. It is a joy to meet people you only chat on the forum.
  21. Thanks for the comments. Great idea about the moss.
  22. Thanks for the comments. Yes, all sold except for theses eight. Most sold around Christmas, but some throughout the year.
  23. Thanks Fish. If you do any compound cutting, they are very easy.
  24. Thanks for the comments. The tree makes a great display. These seem to sell year round. I had someone ask about them last week.
