  1. Very nice cutting and pattern.
  2. Great looking plaque. I agree don't stain cherry. It is beautiful with penetrating oil and poly.
  3. Welcome to the forum from TN. Take some time and post pictures of your projects.
  4. The choice of wood is whatever you have. I use either 1/2" or 3/4" thick wood with Butcher Block Oil finish. Patterns are all over, just find one you like.
  5. Welcome to the forum from Tennessee, Alexei. Great to see people from around the world.
  6. Glad the wife caught the mistake, but what a great correction.
  7. Well done. Dis you use a different wood for the butterflies?
  8. Very nice order. I hate repetition. Someone came into the store and wanted 5 x 7 frames to replace her current frames. Gulped when she said 26 frames. I make 5 a day and finished the last one today.
  9. I have never used it. I prefer mat boards as they are free to me.
  10. Great looking owl. Looks like a Sue Mey pattern.
  11. Wow, thanks for are the fine comments. For those who have never done compound cutting, it is very easy and to see the finished project just fall out. I can cut the birdhouse in about 20 minutes and the bird in about 5 minutes.
  12. Whatever the budget allows. Both are great saws. I have an EX21.
  13. I am sure most of you live near a custom frame shop. We have mat board fall outs which could be free or little cost. Check it out.
  14. Have fun together. It is a joy to meet people you only chat on the forum.
  15. Thanks for the comments. Great idea about the moss.
  16. Thanks for the comments. Yes, all sold except for theses eight. Most sold around Christmas, but some throughout the year.
  17. Thanks Fish. If you do any compound cutting, they are very easy.
  18. Thanks for the comments. The tree makes a great display. These seem to sell year round. I had someone ask about them last week.
  19. My tree display was empty, so I made eight of these cute little Miniature Birdhouses on Monday, March 14th. The wonderful patterns are by Diana Thompson. I used Aromatic Red Cedar and Aspen. I also used FD Polar #7 for the birdhouses and FD Polar #5 for the birds. I have now made over 120 of the wonderful compound cut Miniature Birdhouses. Comments welcome.
  20. Owning a framing shop has another advantage. We always have small pieces of mat board which I use as the backer. Fit in a frame and no one notices.
  21. If that is your design, beautiful. Great cutting nd it would make an excellent trivet.
  22. Owning a frame shop has some advantages. We use double sided tape in all projects and it works great for stack cutting. I just make sure it is placed in the waste area.
  23. Welcome to the forum from TN. I did a Stylized Owl Family last week. The pattern is by Sue Mey.
  24. Very well done. Who is this a pattern of?
