  1. I do remember those magazine racks and I have had several in my life but none now.
  2. Since that picture I made a jig to hold the drill and it works better. I do have a drill press but I like this better.
  3. Rocky I think this is what you might be thinking about but for the life of me I can't think what the name of it is. Maybe it will come to me. I really like them no matter what you call it.
  4. I also have a band saw circle cutting jig. They are easy to make.
  5. Brian I have tried just about all the blades and Pegas is the best for me.
  6. Kevin that is about 30 miles from me but I will let it pass. Maybe Randy (Hotshot) will buy it.
  7. I thought about suggesting you do a dog show a couple weeks ago but never did. I know there is one in Nashville that is a big deal.
  8. Pretty nifty Travis.
  9. Rocky I got a good laugh out of that.
  10. Instant gratification that is the way of a lot of Americans. Including me.
  11. I sure rather have that than some $500 scroll saws I know about. Of coarse I have an EX 16.
  12. Ike it's nice of you to do this for your friends. I am sure they will appreciate it.
  13. Very well put Jim. We all benefit from this forum. There was a time in my life when I pretty much new everything but now I think I don't hardly know anything.
  14. Good mourning Scott. What about gluing two boards together? If you have a good straight edge it would be very hard to tell where the glue joint is.
  15. Scott I was wondering what are the guidelines for the custom names? Some names would have to many letters. Also there could be some other guidelines that I haven't thought about.
  16. Sam in my opinion your way better off. I really like my EX 16.
  17. That is nice Scott.
  18. Because of Religious reasons (I'm a Devout Cheapskate) Jerry that is funny. I got a good laugh out of it.
  19. Wow Ray what a great deal. I would have bought that to if it for sale here. I am glad you got it. Am I jealous, well maybe a little.
  20. I bet that was fun. At least I hope y'all had fun. Y'all are young I kinda figured you was older but I new your wife was young.
  21. You might want to think about this a little. I don't know for sure but could you pick up some vibration from the two wheels that are on the floor? I use a thing that has two rubber cups on one end and you squeeze the other end to reach and pick up something. I can't think what you call it but they don't cost much. I also have extendable wand with a magnet on one end that I pick up bolts and nuts that I drop. They always go under something.
  22. I wax all the metal tables in my shop. It seems I do to much waxing.
  23. Ray I am different than you. I made up some practice patterns and got so bored cutting them that I just started cutting easy patterns. It just works better for me.
  24. Got my Woodcraft wish book yesterday and it has a picture of a King scroll saw on the cover. So I guess Woodcraft is selling them. The King saw sure looks like an Excaliber to me. This is good because we can parts for our EX saws.
  25. Ray the best way to learn is to make something for someone that you know they will like. If you make one and it's a mes throw it away and make another. Do it till you learn how, then go to something else.
