  1. Spray shellac.
  2. I have not heard of it but it looks pretty. Price is pretty good also. I bought some walnut a while back and paid a little over $5 a BF for it and and after getting it home it looked like well you know know what I mean. Inside the warehouse where it was stored was pretty dark. That is the only bad wood I have ever bought from them.
  3. Iggy it's good to see your over the hump. Happy days are here again.
  4. Kinda looks like red oak to me but it's hard to tell from pictures.
  5. It was a DW788 but I didn't buy it.
  6. Thanks Delvaughn I will order the upgrade.
  7. I am ordering some parts for my EX-16. Seyco has an upper clamp assembly part number (EX21-C46AM) that they have modified to last longer. It's about $15 more and I was wondering if this is worth the extra money. Thanks http://seyco.com/partspage/
  8. This is how I store my blades. There are a lot of good solutions to storing blades.
  9. That looks very nice Denny. Little things like that help sales.
  10. I agree I think any of them will work
  11. Iggy got me to using the clear shelf paper and I love it. It cost $5 and change at Wally World and it's easier to use and cheaper. So I say just try it or are you just to old fashion? https://www.walmart.com/ip/Duck-Laminate-Peel-and-Stick-Shelf-Liner-Clear/16224481
  12. I was getting hockey sticks with my Excaliber and it was because I was tightening the clamps to tight. Hotshot straighten me out on that. I am going to have to buy another upper clamp body because of it. I am like a lot of men if a little is good a whole lot is even better. ""WRONG""
  13. This is what I did and it's working pretty good.
  14. I really don't think I will buy it. I can't use the saw I have as much as I would like. I have been out in the shop today working on two golf ball display racks for the grand kids.
  15. It's not to far from me or Hotshot and maybe others in middle Tn. Can some of you guys that know more than I about DW saws tel if this is a number one or two? https://nashville.craigslist.org/tls/d/dewalt-scroll-saw/6227781761.html
  16. Iggy I feel so bad for you. I kinda went through the same thing with my first saw but your is three times the money. One thing you might consider is letting them know all this is being discussed on this forum and if there is another SC forum you should talk about it there also. Also maybe Travis could talk with Bushton on your behalf. On another forum I was having a problem with a piece of equipment the forum helped me out with it. Good luck buddy.
  17. I feel for you Iggy. This is just me but I would have bought an AC unit way way before a new saw. I remember a lot of years ago we went on vacation somewhere close to where you live and we came back to the room to get ready to out to eat. Well by the time we got back from eating I was dripping wet. We never went back there again. I just can't stand that humidity. The humidity must not bother a lot of folks like it bothers me.
  18. I have a window AC unit and a heater. Right now it's 68* and I love it. I can't stand the hot humid weather we have in Tn. nor do I want to be cold. I consider being comfortable while I work a top priority. I do wood working for the enjoyment I get from it and I want to be comfortable.
  19. "Did a great job an best of all no work on me LOL" Are you saying you took all the fun out of sanding?? LOL I was wondering how the dust collection is?
  20. Hey put those guest to work. Who knows you may get one of them to fall in love with scrolling.
  21. Randy better known on here as "Hotshot" came to my house for a visit and boy did we have a great time. He knows so much about scroll saws and I tried to learn as much as I could. If it concerned a scroll saw we talked about it and then we talked about other kinds of wood working. I know I was thrilled to be able to talk to someone who likes wood working. Thanks for your visit Randy and I hope we can get together again.
  22. Denny I never heard of Art Crafters so I Googled it and this must be your place.
  23. WOW!!! Iggy your top dog. We want a complete review by Saturday mourning.
  24. I had not heard of card stock until some of you guys said you it as backers for certain projects. "" Y-all are a lot of trouble "" I went to Staples to buy some this mourning and what they had was like a pastel in the colors. I wanted fire engine red, bright green, bright yellow, and black, but I didn't fined any of those. So am I looking for something that is not to be had? The trip wasn't wasted time as I had some patterns enlarged.
