  1. I got a Syncro Saw for Christmas from my dad when I was about 10 years old, I still have it and it still works {sort of} but it was from my Dad so it won't be going away until I do. I'm only 84 so it will be a while LOL!
  2. Never, I will repeat NEVER trust a woodworker with a clean shop!
  3. Yes it can, all finishes can be used over shellac.
  4. short answer is NO! Lacquer will cause the finish to wrinkle up. Why would you want to put lacquer over anything? It's a finish coat in itself
  5. You won't have any problem at all . With pieces that small and that thin it will be minimal and never show up.
  6. Tried the 45 and I have never looked back, I find it far better than the 77 personally got it a Homer Desperate's, Lousey's has it also.
  7. it's possible that one of the wires to the switch s loose. Try taking it apart and see wha is loose in there. When pushing down on the arm you might be causing it to make contact and run. It's probably an easy repair. Try bypassing the switch to see if it's possibly a bad switch. Just because it is a new one it doesn't mean it is a good one??
  8. Why not call and ask ? The one in Cincinnati will make cuts for you.
  9. Very nice work Frank, I prefer the top pic. with the natural woods showing. Both are winners, Well done.
  10. Great job what wood did you use?
  11. John is correct with his post. You might clean it up by making one more pass with your router set just a fraction deeper and don't move too slow as John said the second pass might clean it up and the depth won't be enough to really show if you keep it small enough. It does appear that your bit could be dull they don't last forever. If you have any diamond cards you might give the flat sides a little touch up before proceeding.
  12. I set the speed where the saw cuts the best depends on the wood and how I feel at the time.
  13. Call them there is a phone Number listed in their Customer Service Tab??
  14. Here you go you can get some here. https://coriandesignsamples.colors2u.net/product/corian-solid-surface-hot/
  15. Beautiful job, you are the box man!
  16. TransTint wood dye works really for staining wood without raising the grain, Not cheap , but it works great; Rockler has it, as well as other woodworking suppliers.

Very nice cutting Paul, Well done.
  18. Fantastic work , keep them coming.
  19. l Les, I miter them on my table saw, I use a sled and it works really well. Boxes that size are really not a problem.
  20. Nice job on the box, I personally dislike the tab joints, and never use them on any of my boxes. I prefer to miter the corners.
  21. Thank you for sharing your experience with us, it looks like it is a really great show. I really enjoyed your pictures of the show.
  22. I sharpen mine with my Makita wet sharpener, it does a fantastic job. Not a cheap tool but well worth it to have in the wood shop for things with an edge. I have been using it for about eight years now and I would find it hard to do without.
  23. They are usually always available and they have other brands as well if you want DeWalt they have them also. You need to go to their website to investigate
  24. I had to make two of them, great little decoration and a fun project. Steve is a great pattern maker.
