  1. Please do!
  2. Save the large fallouts and fragile area fallouts and tape them back in place
  3. And...it’s fixed and wonderful!
  4. This is an old post. I do understand. But. My knob in the back keeps moving. I put lock tight on the set screw. I have the Pegas clamps. I bought and installed the replacement parts for the clamps. The back knob moves. I had to go back to the 788 to get my order done. Suggestions please?!
  5. I have absolutely NO experience. That said, If I was modifying my tool I would buy the product from the manufacturer for ease of support.
  6. This advice helped me so much!
  7. I purchased one of the final runs of the EX 21 before the change. If I could, I would buy the Pegas. Upgraded to their clamps on my EX
  8. If you ask 5 scrollers, you will get 5 different answers. I will buy Flying Dutchman from Mikes Workshop, Sharktooth from Scrollers Online, and On Line blades from Judy Gale Roberts.
  9. If I lived there, I wouldn’t be in my shop or house ever! We are around 2 hours away. Close enough for a day trip, far enough to not go every day.
  10. I will try this.
  11. That was fantastic!
  12. I do like the black metal. I think the wooden ones are too big.
  13. I don’t understand. BEFORE staining?
  14. I posted the jig. Be sure you thread It in straight.
  15. I have missed seeing you!
  16. After you download the app you will put in your zip code. They tell you what stores you can use. We were not real comfortable with the pick up thing. My car is very small and a hatchback. I don’t want people that close.
  17. I use a drafting chair for my EX21. My saw sits high. The drafting chair is very high. I use a bar stool for my Dewalt
  18. We are of the age that we are on the endangered species list. I found Instacart. I order my groceries, someone shops for me, while texting so I can approve what ever replacement might be necessary, I pay through the app. Groceries are delivered to my porch. NO CONTACT, NO GOING OUT. I may never go into another grocery store, they also do CVS. Now, if I could just find toilet paper.
  19. I do not recommend beginning with spirals. Start with flat blades. Since your saw does take pinned blades, they will be the easiest to install. You WILL want to move to pinless for fine fretwork. I think reverse and skip tooth to start. Sizes 3.
  20. What about this? My husband uses it with a right angle drill for sanding his bowls on the lathe. It uses Velcro sandpaper, sold by Klingspor’s woodworking shop. It is what I am planning on trying to use when I try her bowls 2" Flexi-Pad $12.95 Item #: FP50200 GO TO CART BACK... MORE ABRASIVE DISCS CONTINUE SHOPPING
  21. I would mask the bodies and frame and spray or paint the butterfly a metallic color, gold or copper. Paint the bodies black. Danish oil or BLO the frame and use a colored oval backer, just behind the oval part of the frame. Possibly swirled blues and white.
  22. But it works different on the Dewalt. I don’t see how it would function right. The tension is applied from the back on my EX correct? and from the front on the Dewalt.
  23. I put a set on the Dewalt. The recommendation is to buy just the Dewalt style clamp. Use the regular Dewalt tensioner. It works great.
