    The reason for tilting the back of the saw is to help your neck and shoulders. The reason I like the way my Excalibur tilts the head is the rack and pinion system. For double bevel inlay the tilt is very small and needs to be exactly correct. I could never get it correct with the Dewalt. Loosen the table and tap, doesn’t work easily.

    Well from the look of those wood fibers I thought it was cheap plywood! That is definitely not normal.

    I use the shelf liner/label combo. The only time I use spray is when the pattern is bigger than one sheet of paper.

    I just use the suede-Tex. I didn’t know there was more than one type of fibers. Why would someone use it outside?

    I clean the ends of my blades with a little thinner. When you wipe them and see the black on your rag you will understand one reason they might be slipping.

    I DO use that flocking kit with very good results. Finish everything first. I use a plastic container for the entire kit. Easy to contain the mess and store the stuff. Put on enough colored glue, double check. Put the box IN the plastic container and flock. DO NOT SHAKE THE BOX. Carefully remove the box and check for any shiny areas, these don’t have enough flocking. Reflock the box until there are no shiny spots. Extra flock is fine. Let set at least overnight. Turn the box over and shake the extra flock into the plastic container. This can now be put back into the puffer. After 24 hours you can tap the bottom of the box to remove the rest of the unstuck flock. This will take a bit. I usually turn it over upside down and ‘drop’ it about an inch onto the table a few times. The “trick” is letting everything dry.

    You can mail order Baltic Birch Plywood. I order it off of EBay. Check to be sure the supplier is Cherokee. You will get good stuff.

    I used to work with Amish. The business have what they need to compete. Phones, electric, etc. It needs to be approved by the local Bishop. A telephone in the barn was not that uncommon.

    I have an old cookie sheet and cooling rack. I set my projects on that to drip after I wipe. Go back and wipe again now and then. When I need a new set, I get a new cookie sheet and cooling rack for the kitchen and take the old ones. Win/Win.

    When I first bought my EX, I could not keep the blade in the holder at all! I was ready to quit. The Pegas blade holders fixed my Saw. I think it is their best product.

    Backwards is easy with a 2/0, or 3/0 blade especially!
