  1. I use the ‘contact’ shelf paper and self adhesive labels. No problems. No tape, no sticky spray. I only use the spray when the pattern is too big for the labels.
  2. I bought a drafting stool like that from Office Depot recently, it is very high. It took some adjusting the saw and the stool to find a comfortable position. My husband is VERY patient. I have to use a box to put my foot switch. He even helped me position it, with me in it, and locked the casters. Now I can swing around, hop out, and hop back in and swing back and saw. Very high.
  3. Curves are hard for me too. Go slow. I try to use a finger for a pivot point and then forget to move it as the curve continues. I have been working on round boxes lately. Practice, patience, keep plugging along. The blade choice depends on wood thickness.
  4. The reason you are sent replacements every few months is because of bacteria that builds up. The same with oxygen hoses. I took care of an older couple for a couple of years. I hope you are replacing the used hoses and repurposing them. Changing them is important.
  5. I have one. I can’t seem to get a flat surface on a 8+” board. I do use it for the edges. It is a waste of money and space. I have my flap sander mounted on the side.
  6. WOW! Beautiful stuff!
  7. The shelf paper is not tape.
  8. Me too, the intake side, so clean air blows out.
  9. I would love to make a copy of that to pass out when I am giving a class.
  10. I also bought the Tightbond quick and thick. I like it a lot.
  11. I am back with Flying Dutchman. I like them.
  12. I like the idea of darkening the letters, but I’m afraid the stain will bleed.
  13. I gave away all my #5’s and started buying Flying Dutchman and Sharktooth again. I will not be buying Pegas again.
  14. I have found that the labels DO stick extremely well. I had to soak in mineral spirits more than once and still had to scrape it off. Didn't think of the best gun. I do use clear contact shelf paper but I always sand first.
  15. I haven’t purchased from Ocooch yet but I did purchase from Cherokee recently. I will definitely be purchasing more from them and trying Ocooch also. Thanks for recommending these places.
  16. I paint some of my backers. No problem with glue. If you are using clock inserts you could either buy a cheap drill press or just cut them out. The clock trim will cover any miner discrepancies. A lot of clocks have that box in the back and it’s not a problem. Always try to use Baltic Birch ply. It’s just that much better.
  17. The collapsible baskets are not fun or easy. I hate curves.
  18. Flats. I only use spirals when I need to.
  19. I don’t like Pegas blades, I don’t like how they cut, I don’t like how easy they break. I use Flying Dutchman and/or Sharktooth.
  20. I do understand that but checking only takes a minute.
  21. What’s Bulberry and white walnut? Just curious.
  22. Silly question, is your square, square?
  23. Small parts that I use are not nuts, bolts washers and screws. I have stainless steel parts washers, nuts, and others for whirligigs. When I make one I get that container out. I haven’t made one in a while. When I make birdhouses I like to decorate with beads, copper wire, seashells and stuff, that’s in a different container. That’s how I sort. My screws are in the box they came in and kept in a drawer. Pocket screws are with the pocket jig. Old screws are trash. When I did this it cleared up an entire shelf.
  24. Buy a fine crosscut blade for the Saw. That’s it, easy peasy. I buy a new blade for my table saw and mitersaw once a year. I can make my own frames, and I do.
