    I use the drill bit size to the space that I need to drill. I only worry about the smallest hole I need to drill. I will use a larger drill bit if I can. It just makes it easier to insert the blade that way.

    I have a bench top Jet drill press. It has the laser. I don’t use it.

    I made my husband a display box with a glass top for part of his knife collection. I have also made him some shelves for some of his lighters, a checkerboard and checkers, he doesn’t play chess. I’m giving my daughter a box with a deck of cards, they play poker, Steve Good pattern. Also a Penguin puzzle, she loves Penguins. I give my kids an ornament their trees. Grandaughter is getting a turtle box and a trivet.

    I saw this on a YouTube video a few years ago. It’s a piece of leftover plywood with a finish, over that is on of those grippy rubbery cloth things. It is held together with the wood strips on either side. The rubber is not attached any other way. I sand everything on this with my ROS. Even my fine fretwork.

    I have helped make urns. They were 9”x9”. The tops and bottoms have a bit of an overhang. The bottom is screwed on so that the ashes will be inserted that way.

    I do the same. That way if I like them, I know where I got them. If I don’t, I know where they came from too.

    The Pegas also allows for easy, repeatable tilting for bevels, inlay and such. It also comes with the Pegas clamps that will cost to upgrade the others. If you’re going to choose you might as well get ALL the bells and whistles.

    In my opinion the Porter Cable is not a full step up. The Delta or Dewalt is. It’s just a little more and a much better saw.
