Indiana, they are instituting a new Diploma track where a student can get a diploma instead of taking the ridiculous math requirement for graduation. Instead of taking algebra 2 they need to meet community service and career readiness requirements. They start the students on a career path in middle school and hope have internships for them their senior year. The school I taught at is ahead of schedule and have businesses donating time and money for the program (over $225,000.00) so far to equip the old shop areas. I guess my retirement was too early (haha) missed out on the new trend.
