  1. Mine came attached. Sounds like I was lucky and didn't have to struggle like you.
  2. A new toy I am sure you will love playing with it. Hopefully it won't take to much time away from your scrollsaw work. I think you will be able to expand your product line. Good Luck
  3. Kevin where was my message to help? A quick eighty minutes and I would have been there to help for a share of the wood.
  4. I use refrigerator calendar magnets for zero clearance. Easy to remove and install. Just put them on the side so when needed they are not far away.
  5. I up the ante I will drive the 85 miles so no shipping needed.(lol)
  6. I don't know if the new pegas blade holder for the jet scroll saw would help. The upgrade to pegas blade holder would make blades changes easier no more barrel to hold the blade.
  7. Sounds like you are going to have a lot of fun with the new toys. If I had room and extra cash I might take a look at you tools for sale. I am close enough to you, just can't walk around my shop without hitting something. My wife would question my sanity if I bought more tools.
  8. I made some lanterns out of redheart and curly maple with Baltic Birch plywood .
  9. Awesome! New tools are always a welcome addition.
  10. Here is a chart that might help. The second page did not appear. Search for the Olson blade chart. olson-scrollblade-chart.pdf
  11. Good luck! I hope you come home with empty boxes.
  12. Awesome you got those done so fast! My wife is on her fourth year waiting on kitchen cabinets. Her wait is about over.
  13. Our woodworking club had a craft show this weekend that is free for members to setup and they sold $4000 dollars worth of things. This is the most they have done. It's not bad for those that sell items you don't have to be there to man your setup somebody collects the money and you get your check Monday.
  14. It is amazing how I am just 80 miles south of you a we only got a dusting. We are just south the lake effect area. You should enjoy the warm up this weekend.
  15. Free is always great but hope he gives you some tools.
  16. If you use the bandsaw make zero clearance plate to minimize tear out.
  17. Awesome, you will love the saw.
  18. Nice savings on the liner was the candy on sale too? I have that problem as well go get one thing and five others not on the list jump in the cart on their own.
  19. Awesome job on the restoration it should serve you well for many years.
  20. Awesome ornament!
  21. My garage is 30x33 with R19 walls, R30 ceiling and insulated doors. I use a 50,000btu bigmaxx gas heater. The gas bill for the year was an extra $120, not bad considering I kept it at 68 all winter 24-7.
  22. If you need parts for the new Delta scroll saw they are available. You are right the bearings are the same as Dewalt 788 and if the blade holder wears out pegas is a great upgrade. I have the Delta and the only issue was tightening the motor mount.
  23. Heat and a good bandsaw will be enough. You don't need a table saw if you have a good bandsaw unless fine furniture projects are in your future. Don't work more than 30 hours a day you do need to get a quick nap in there. Good luck on making it to the finish.
  24. In the 30's outside 68 inside. R19 walls, R30 ceiling and 50k but Biggmax gas heater. I love my heater, so ,does my wife who gets to park inside.
  25. 1.75 hp is plenty of hp for anything as long as the blade sharp and you don't force the wood. I had the 1.75 at the school I taught at and had no issues. I would get the better fence. Does Johnson's wave the delivery fee? The woodworking store I buy from and demo at waves the fee if it orders three or more at a time. They have some in stock ready for pickup or delivery if it is not too far. I thought was was still on Tablesaw topic oops
