  1. My woodworking club just bought some ridgid sanders so far they seem to be fine. The lifetime warranty is a plus as long as you register it.
  2. I use the flocking kit shown. I put finish on the box first then after it dries the glue is applied (same color as the flocking) next apply a generous amount of flocking let dry overnight and shake out the excess.
  3. Sounds like I need to make a trip to Ollies next time I go to Ft. Wayne.

  5. Try Pozsgaidesigns.com I see they still have them for sale. I got some from them years ago. I just check their website so call them and see if they can help.
  6. Awesome find, I haven't been to Winchester since a family reunion 8 years ago.
  7. Congratulations hard work usually pays off. Maybe the next event you will break your all time record.
  8. I tried cutting tight curves like the video but The 1/8" blade and carter stabilizer could not cut as tight of curves. If the blades are 93 1/2" I might order one and try using that blade. I am always up for a challenge.
  9. I have cheap porter cable 14" bandsaw with a carter stabilizer and an 1/8" blade total invested $475. It works great for bandsaw boxes. For the price of the pegas I could paint my bandsaw red and black and it would be essentially the same saw. So save a $1000 and look for something just as good like my porter cable.
  10. When I need to print something large I go to the school I taught at or the vocational school where I sub on rare occasions. Retirement is too much fun to tie myself down and teach CAD anymore than one or two days a year. I use the 44" wide plotter. It's nice to have that option.
  11. Next year we will have meet there. We can set a time and location at Johnson's Workbench and lie about all the work we do.
  12. Awesome looking cat! I went to the expo Friday and Saturday bought some Baltic Birch plywood and some exotic wood. I got there late Friday because of a wreck on I69. I was at a stand still for an hour before I could get off and bypass the wreck. Today I took the alternate route and bypassed all the road construction on I69.
  13. I plan on getting there by 8:30 both days. Friday getting there early you get first pick of the store boards can't beat 20% off. I plan on leaving around 4:00 both days.
  14. I plan on going both Friday and Saturday. I been saving my pennies for a year to get the deals. I never leave the Expo empty handed.
  15. Really nice job and an excellent choice of wood.
  16. Awesome setup and sales!
  17. I buy mine from lljohnson's Workbench for $15.40 a sheet 5x5. They have a wood expo where you can get even more off the cost. I plan on picking up some at the expo the first weekend after Labor Day. They are the cheapest source I have found in my area for the excellent quality of the plywood.
  18. I have a area that is 15'x30' with an added area 5'x12' for a total of 510 sqft. It's not enough because I can't buy anymore tools there is no place to put them. My wife refuses to give up her half of the garage.
  19. +1 on shelf liner. I use it then spray adhesive the the pattern.
  20. I get my domestic hardwood from my woodworking club. We have one or two sawmill days a year and dry it in a solar kiln. The wood from the club is usually below market prices. Exotic wood and Baltic Birch plywood I get at lljohnson's Workbench during their Wood Expo for the discounted price. I still have about 400bdft of quartersawn red oak leftover from my kitchen cabinet project. I guess I overestimated what I needed at least that's what I told my wife.
  21. Nice shop, looks like you have plenty of room until it's filled. I am glad my wife thought I needed a garage for a shop. I built mine about seven years ago as well. It's 30x33 and still not enough room for everything.
  22. I buy it for the same price as Kevin only I drive father to pick it up. Johnson's Workbench in Charlotte MI is the cheapest place and better quality than any place in the Ft. Wayne area.
  23. That is the router bit I use for cutting slots to make it easier to hang things straight. Awesome jigs for getting the job done!
  24. I been busy finishing up my kitchen cabinets and getting ready for my two sons graduation party. Cleaning and rearranging the shop for the party. I forgot getting the pool open for the summer. The grandkids have been on me to get that done.
  25. Those are fantastic! Much better than the old stickers on the car like dad put on for every state we visited.
