  1. Yes, I can, but I don't want anything to do with Microsoft. I have more than 30 years of experience with Microsoft products and they are horrible.
  2. I love my Brother laser printer. I've used it for eight years with no issues until yesterday when the fuser roller went out. Parts are readily available from many sources, including Amazon and eBay. The fuser roller cost $17 for fast shipping and $8 if I want to wait a few weeks. Normally, I would opt for the lower cost, but with my luck, I would need to print many shipping labels, and no printer is available. I will also order the cheap roller and keep it on the shelf the same way I keep spare toner. No scrolling and no shipping labels until it is fixed. I also ordered a thermal label printer finally. I'm 100% Fedora Linux here and finally found a printer that works with Linux and fits my budget. LabelRange 300DPI High Resolution Thermal Label Printer
  3. I have never bought a used clamp. I have rarely paid the full retail price for a clamp. I watched for deals and got them cheap for as much as 75% off retail. I got serious about buying clamps about 30 years ago when the Stanly clamps I had started breaking.
  4. Never enough clamps, but I'm getting close. I sold some a few months ago. I would definitely let Wen know about the broken base. That is an incredibly poor location for the mounting holes. I expected to see ears on the base or at least in the four corners.
  5. You make some very good points. I'm going to adjust some pricing to allow for sales and see what happens.
  6. That is a problem I have always had with using glue sticks to hold patterns. I use Elmer's Glue Sticks for tiny pieces that are difficult to spray.
  7. I'm not sure how small they will go but I use a #60 my Wen chuck with room to spare.
  8. I reviewed mine and looked at all the listings Etsy thought were similar. About half of the comparisons were inaccurate. It would be more useful if it would show all my listings. Perhaps they only show listings that they think are out of range. Oh, get this big time. I have some items that I could sell a lot if the price were low enough, but I would work a lot more and make less money if I have to make a lot of the same thing I burn out on them. I made a pull toy for a custom order and offered it in my shop for a much higher price than the original. It sold, and I raised the price. Every time I sold one, I raised the price, and they kept selling. I got tired of making them and eventually disabled the listing. I follow this model with most items until I get something I can live with. A balance between sales, profit, and work. I refuse to work for free. I don't have sales. I firmly believe that all you do when you have a sale is train customers to wait until the item goes on sale. I believe this because that is what I do. Sales are so bad now that if I didn't have a lot of low-priced items, I would be making few sales. The interesting thing to me is these low-priced items are the ones that make the most profit percentage-wise. Material cost is near zero, and they are very easy to make.
  9. I tried it. Generally, it did not tell me anything I didn't know. There were a few that were obviously wrong.

The only thing I use the beta dashboard for is to access their analytics. I have tried it several times and have never successfully been able to post a listing. I don't use the new Etsy dashboard either.

What you are likely seeing is a certificate error. This is usually a name mismatch. Depending on your domain provider, there may be a fix for this. It should be a setting in the area where you are configuring the redirect. I have already had to go back and correct a few things. The beta dashboard concerns me a bit. They keep wanting people to use it, but not only are their pieces missing but some of the ones that are there are different. When this dashboard goes gold will I have to go back through everything and fix them?
  12. I have two of these chucks. They are great.
  13. You can't miss fast enough to win.
  14. I have made several of these skeletons. My grandson loves them.
  15. Which one did you use? 3M makes several glue sticks. What solvent is needed to remove any glue residue?
  16. I don't obsess about time, even though I probably should since I sell things I make, it would be nice to know how long it takes to make something. Making things in batches is faster per piece than making one at a time. The first piece I make takes longer to make than the second piece. The more times I make something the faster I get at it to a point.
  17. The ease of changing speeds would also be a big plus.
  18. Be accurate; speed will come all by itself.
  19. I had a small benchtop drill press for a few years and got rid of it for two reasons. The primary reason was because of the table height adjustment. I will never again buy a drill press that doesn't have a hand crank to adjust the table height. The second reason I got rid of it was the chuck mount system was non-standard. I wanted to change the chuck for a chuck that would hold very small bits, but I could not get one. Another thing to look out for is how the stops work. In my opinion, you should be able to adjust the depth stop without tools.
  20. It is a Taiwan-made saw and definitely worth the cost to rebuild. I have replaced every replacement part on mine using parts from Seyco. It was worth every penny. Looking at the brass plate, it appears to have been purchased from Seyco. Give them a call.
  21. My Excalibur EX-21 does not have parts like this. Could you post a photo of the serial number label?
  22. Same here; my shop has been in steady decline since February 2021. 2022 Revenue -23% from 2021 2023 Revenue -33% from 2022 This was after three years of steadily increasing.

    GoImagine

That seems pretty simple. I have a domain name that is currently pointed at my Etsy shop. It's never brought any traffic that I can see. I may use that or add a new hostname and redirect it to the goimagine page. My provider sold their domain name business, so I must dig into that to see what I can do. It looks to me that the GoImagine web page is just a slightly different face for your shop. I have always been able to point my domain name to any URL.
  24. Nothing fancy here, but I have all my ducks in a row. I don't know how many little animal cutouts I have made over the years. Over a thousand, for sure. I learned how to use my first scroll saw to make animal cutouts. Kids love them, and so do some adults. All but two of these are cut from oak using #5 Pegas MGT blades. Two are salvaged mystery wood.
