:Lester it was good meeting you again and talking about the area we both grew up in. I cut a figurine not sure of the wood but it might be tara wood the saw dust seemed heavy and the vac under scroll table was on however excessive amount of surface dust had to be vacumned of.

sometimes sawdust doesn't clear like I right now I am cutting figurines in Tara wood using #5 ultra reverse Niqua blade my dust extraction could be better

Yes sometimes the pattern will lift; I keep scotch tape close by just in case.

looks good to me as I had no idea the ferrari needed a brake vent, In fact I don't even know what a brake vent is

I gave myself a similar owee a year or so ago when using a #7 blade.

Yeah i have been using glue sticks lately, attaching the pattern directly to the wood with good results

I check in several times a week on several scroll saw sites. all sites are slow these days -
I have been making flowers, these old irons i bought at a yard sale are great to to use instead of clamping

We moved from the city to a small one traffic controlling light town. This was 15 years ago I was able to have two car sized shop and a car port to put the truck into and wonderful neighbours. Now at 81 the thought of moving again gives me a headache . Did I mention the nursing home for the aged people is only 5 blocks away.

Good advice I have a lung condition so it is mask up most of the time or stay out of the shop, especially scroll sawng as that dust is very fine
