I try to catch them every year also. I feel cheated if I don't catch the Halloween and Christmas specials. Not that they're great entertainment, just old friends.

I noticed he was mistaken for Charlie Brown. Linus is one of my all time favorites. I gave this one away on facebook to the first person who could tell me from their own memory, without Googling in other words, what his last name is. Do you know? Another good trivia question is, "Where was Snoopy born?" As a kid I used to buy books, the size of paperbacks that were full of old Charlie Brown comic strips and read them with a flashlight in bed.

Thought this was appropriate for Halloween 2020. It's made from some 1X pine I got from the inside of a cable spool so it's a bit convex and works nicely for this kind of thing.

Thank you. I've done that so many times! Little things like, "The dot over that "i" is too small. Crap now it's huge!" Kind of what happened with the trees. They look a bit Halloweenish but they'll do. I like your husband's quote.

Made this for a childhood hunting and fishing buddy I've lost touch with except for FB. He and his wife enjoy kayak fishing. I borrowed heavily from the style of Kimberly Francis. I'm not at all happy with the trees but they were the last thing I cut and after several attempts to "tweak" them I decided I better leave them alone as I don't have it in me to do it all over. It's 5 1/2" by 12" out of mystery pallet wood.

Thank you so much! My wife's not easily impressed but she really likes this one. I'll brag a bit here. I made the shutters, the bench, the wind chimes, and the sign on the door too.

Thanks Les. I used FDUR #1 except for the straight lines around the edges where I used FDUR #5's. I don't have much luck with spirals except for opening up a line I've already cut with a flat blade. I cut mostly thicker solid wood, this was 3/4". I imagine it might be easier to follow a line with a spiral on thinner plywood. It did make for a lot of tight twisting and turning on those small letters on the bottom. Probably took me 10-15 minutes per letter. I could never make good money at this.

No backer yet but I like how this sign is turning out. It's about 12"X16". I bought the wood at Hobby Lobby. I didn't really care for how it cut. It's Basswood and is very soft which for me makes it easier to mess up. I like cutting Oak. We'll be hanging it on the front porch. If you want the pattern I can point you in the right direction. It's from an Etsy Shop called Buzzcutz. The shop owner also has a shop called Wallcutz where she sells stencils. I bought the image but asked if she could send me the stencil image as it would make a good scroll saw pattern and she did. Happy fall ya'll!
