  1. An excellent piece, such fine cutting
  2. We British have quite a few sayings that can baffle the rest of the world I think. I just forget sometimes.
  3. Awesome. Beautifully cut, I love it.
  4. I won't laugh, mine looks exactly the same. I take a bin outside and spray. Voila !! That said I usually only spray with a light varnish and only my scrolling stuff.
  5. Cambridge Dictionary definition cack-handed (kæk hændɪd ) used to describe someone who often drops or breaks things or does things badly: adjective If you describe someone as cack-handed, you mean that they handle things in an awkward or clumsy way. [British, informal, disapproval] ...the cack-handed way they handled the incident.
  6. Beautiful things. I do so wish I could do these but alas I'm so Cack Handed I'd likely end up in A+E
  7. Goodness, you're almost as picky as I am I would never have noticed if you hadn't pointed it out. As it was I had to go back and scrutinise it !!!
  8. You'll find him here, https://www.facebook.com/Custom-wood-portraits-2014208635313681/ he has some great patterns, enjoy
  9. Brilliant !!
  10. Oh WOW !!! Congratulations. You must be over the moon with that. Good Luck for the next one xx
  11. Fabulous !!!
  12. I did write a post about this and was pleased with myself.....then somehow I deleted it !!!! I'm not writing this to go ''Bragging'' about a piece that I've cut but more about the fact that I've put some photo's on my ''Gallery'' all by myself !!! No kids - No grandkids - No husband was involved. I've only been in the Village since -------August 2018 !!! and I've finally worked it out !! Looking back at my first attempts with Silhouettes and the work I do now, I feel kinda pleased at my progression. A long ways to go but I feel I've definitely improved. Couldn't have done it without the support all the Village have given me.. Thank You.
  13. I'll try anything once I love mainly to cut animals but have done 'people' too and shapes and Bandsaw Boxes. I'm afraid I'm a 'Jack of all Trades, master of none'' kind of person I've just updated my Gallery so you can have a peek if you like.
  14. Welcome to the Village, it's a great place to be. I'm not far away, just up the A1 I too have an Axminster but an 18", second hand also but I love it.
  15. Nope, it lifts off all in one piece. I know when I first used it I was amazed and ran and showed Tony. He laughed and said ''my goodness, you're easily pleased''
  16. Must confess, this summer I stopped using blue tape as I found it a pain to remove from detailed fretwork. So now I just glue my pattern straight onto my wood and use White Spirit to remove. So much easier for me this way.
  17. That looks good. I could no more cut 1" wood than fly to the moon. Well Done.
  18. Not sure you can improve perfection and to me that's what your work is.
  19. Great cutting. I had to look up Merle and found out his name. A lovely play on words too. xx
  20. Fantastic. You have such enviable skill !!
  21. Terrific cutting, !!!!
