  1. Amazing. You did a brilliant job of cutting that
  2. Don't think anyone on here would disagree with you there Innar, I think you said it perfectly.
  3. I think that's a brilliant piece, beautifully cut. May I ask where the pattern came from? I'd love to attempt that.
  4. Yep, I did just that on this piece. A whole lot easier than trying to make a frame.
  5. Thanks for the video, it was a great help. May I ask how thick your wood is ? I'm trying to source some Poplar boards here in the UK and they all ask me for a 'thickness' . Thanks in advance, your help is much appreciated.
  6. Very nice and I'm sure it will be popular. Me ? I like round and fluffy
  7. A big Welcome from me too. Enjoy the Village it's a great place to be.
  8. I love your work Kevin, it's inspirational. But, what happened to 'slow down and look after yourself' ?
  9. Lovely pieces and a wonderful thought, your daughter will adore them. Wishing you many, many more years of cutting before then.
  10. Must confess to loving these puzzles but not sure if they are a little beyond my skill set. I know you use Poplar but can't get it easily around here. May I ask how 'thick' a wood do you use and do you 'round' the edges at all as these, although very nice. look a little 'sharp' on the edges. Also, I'm afraid if I do cut one I'll probably end up cutting dozens
  11. I loved it Don, in fact it was an inspiration, thank you. After seeing yours I went and tried cutting one. I just put my daughters name on it so she can have it in her office.
  12. Nice piece,,, I've always liked but never dared do a burn effect like that. I'm more likely to incinerate Tonys workshop

  15. Gorgeous
  16. Patience !!! You are likely to be 'glued' to the saw once you open it
  17. Brilliant, Congratulations. I've never been to a craft fair, I must find some to visit next year.
  18. I don't have a 'stand' for my saw, it's bolted to my workbench but I do have a piece of 2x 4 under the back edge. It's personal preference as to which way it's done. I sit at my saw and like the 'tilt'
  19. Love the napkin rings and your neighbour will appreciate them I'm sure. I adore the 'tool box' and his face will be a picture when he opens his present from Grandma.

  21. Patience my friend, what's 24 hours compared to the years enjoyment of your new saw that's to come ?
  22. Thinking of you Les, from this side of the world. Keep your spirits up, this surgery will make a world of difference. Wishing you and yours a Great Christmas and a wonderful New Year.
  23. OMG, how beautiful. Such craftsmanship. They are honestly the best decoration I have seen. I just want to 'pick them up' and touch them.
  24. Welcome to the Village. Enjoy !!
  25. Don't fret Ray, it's the nature of the ''Internet Forum' beast. I'm with you, in that I love to see where people are from. Living on such a small island myself I do enjoy looking at how scattered people on here are and think that it's great to see how far and wide the 'scrolling community' is spread.
