  1. Looks good ! I guess I should start working on show stock for next winter. Heck, it was 30* this morning...don't think winter ever left!
  2. Looks cool!
  3. Haven't seen that one, but thanks! I'll keep it. It would make a great title on a cut of the "Truckin Guy".
  4. YES! That's pretty close to the one I saw. I'll try to copy it to Inkscape and see if it can be made scrollable. Thanks!
  5. Probably not. But if you have a 6 pack of toilet paper you could do some trading....
  6. Yea Brenda, like that. The one I saw had 3 dudes following each other.
  7. Thanks Russell! We just got back from the winter in south TX. I got the boat and other things out of my shop, and the saw and stuff unloaded from the 5th wheel. So now that we have a few rainy days coming it's a perfect to spend some quality time in the shop setting up and back to work/play. I'll be cutting this pattern first thing! I did cut the "STARR" special order down south. Thanks again to you and Jim who both sent me patterns! Don't remember which one I used...or parts from both. I guess I did forget to post the finished product...my bad. I had no idea of showing and selling my work when we went south. I messed around with the saw in December...between parties with friends and trips to Mexico. After the first of the year I thought maybe I'll try a craft show to get rid of some of these puzzle animals I had been cutting...it took on a life of it's own!!! I ended up doing 21shows in two and a half months! And 5 more shows were canceled when the COVIN-19 started closing things. One stretch in Feb. I worked 7 shows in 8 days! I sold 86 puzzle animals and made 58 more for show stock. Nothing compared to Iggy, but for someone who never showed doing craft shows at RV parks full of old farts, "winter Texans" it was amazing. I also sold 14 special orders...dogs with names, name signs, a POW-MIA, and a 57 Chevy I made for a car show I was in! In the mix were 5 Nativity Crosses, shown here, that take me a long time to do...although I'm getting faster. Keep in mind I HAD NO STOCK when we went south and no idea I would be working shows! Everything was made at our RV lot between shows. But it was great fun and I'm looking forward to doing it again next winter. But...this time I'll bring stock down with me!!! And I know the tips, and tricks, and have the contacts, so it will be even more fun with a lot less work. Thanks again to you and all the other folks here that have helped me and taught me stuff. I've come a long way already since my first saw and cut in August of last year.
  8. Has anyone seen the 60s "Keep On Truckin" pattern? I've seen a cut somewhere on the web...but can't remember where or who did the pattern.
  9. Absolutely beautiful! Yes you must have a LOT of scrap!!!
  10. Really cool! Reminds me that I haven't set up the saw after returning from the winter in south TX. I did unload it from the 5th wheel, need to set it up today!
  11. Great sign of the (crazy) times! Is the pattern available? I don't know Russell.
  12. Great job! I need to cut one of those for my wall at home!!! Did you use a spiral? I've just about got the "winter shop" packed in the 5th wheel for the trip back to MO later this week. Been roaming the web looking at new fishing poles! Just itching to get the boat out and find some Crappie and Bass!! Told the wife if I get a new pole I'll "thin the herd" a little...probably got 30+ fishing poles now... She wasn't impressed...don't think she believed me...she didn't last time I used that line either...
  13. Nice work! Love the clock...that's funny!
  14. Fantastic work Blake! Spirals scare the heck out of me!! Every time I put one in my saw becomes possessed I need an exorcism to be able to cut with it again !!! I would really like to be able to do the cool patterns I see...but spirals have a mind of their own. I'll try again when we get back to MO next week...and after I get the saw unpacked and set up...lol. I have a couple of Pegas 2/0 but they don't want to clamp right. Is there a blade that is flat on both ends where they clamp? Or is there a trick to getting them to stay put? I've only got 1 pack ever...a bad batch...try a larger spiral to learn on...???
  15. Two very cool projects Roly. I would love to have a CNC! Maybe some day....
  16. My "very Ex boyfriend"...LMAO. Sounds like a story...but probably shouldn't tell it here...
  17. Very nice Mimi ! One of our daughters is a RN in Kansas, just took over a Director of Nursing position. I need to do that one for her!
  18. Absolutely beautiful Paul ! I would love to do those...an ARMY for me and others to sell, but I get intimated by the outside ring. Yours looks so prefect and symmetrical, I think mine would have bumps and oblong shapes...lol. With cuts on both sides needing to perfectly matchup, I would think any "oops" would really stand out. How long do the rings take to cut? What's your secrets to cutting it? I have a lot of military cuttings I want to do when we get home. One is a Charles Hand pattern of an ARMY jeep just like the one I had in Germany. It's one of those 350 hole monsters. Again, really, really nice Paul!
  19. Looks good Scott!
  20. This is the end of my "season" so to speak. I sold at the craft shows in 55+ RV parks in the Rio Grande Valley of TX. I decided to try one in the first part of Jan....it took on a life of it's own! I did 21 shows in 3 months and had 5 canceled, last Sat. through today. Had 2 call me to let me know they canceled while I was doing the only show this week, Monday, and they shut down all activities when the show was over at noon. I'm going to cut this summer and bring stock with me next year! I've already got a table locked at several shows I've done...and already weeded out a couple of dud shows I won't go back to. I WAS going to find some shows to do this summer...but that's not looking too good now. Maybe by mid to late summer and fall as we'll head south just after Thanksgiving.
  21. Yup...Kyle Bush is the problem...LOL.
  22. I had a show cancelled today. All 3 for next week are a go...so far.
  23. just got a call back from Ray at Seyco! At almost 8 PM ! First time I've talked to him...really nice guy. He quickly helped me with a couple of questions...now all's right with the world...or at least my saw. Now...if I can just get a couple more puzzle animals cut before tomorrow's show....#3 of 5 this week.
  24. It probably does...but it's in my desk at home...in Missouri...I'm in south Texas on the border for the winter. I didn't think of You Tube though...everything else is on there somewhere.
  25. Dumb question...why are the slots on the motor mount? What difference will it make if I move the motor?
