all i can say is WOW!!!

i like both too but my favorit is the butterfly lol

lol so thats why my lower back hurts so bad i have to get a stool to sit on while im doing the dishes !!! lol or anything else that requires me to stand or walk for any length of time!! lol darn those kids when they were little!! lol we just wont tell them about all the stuff i carried in mky purse when i was in high school!!! lol i aways carried at least 2 books in my purse, not school books....leasure books , lol amoung various outher things teenage girls need to have with them at all times!! lol my purse these days is a bit lighter...not a lot lighter but a little little lighter lol well i have the dogs you see, and they need there toys and treats too... lol and lets not forget my meds lol oh the things in a womans purse!!! and heaven help the man who sticks there hands in our purse's!!! i often keep a needle and thread in mine in case i have to make an emerigvy repair. lol

well i havent been on in a day or so because i came down with a terrable head cold. so spent most of the time lieing in bed and watching tv... i did get a few little things done craft wise in between sleeping and taking cold meds. lol the update on crafts... the birdcages are FINALLY all put together and painted yea!!! tomarrow spike and i will decide what to use to hang the bird cages from there stands and then polyurthine them... im not to sure on how well they came out but ill put pictures up either tomarrow or the next day... the bulldog toothpicks are all cut ut and the holes drilled in them so i can start carving on them either tomarrow or the next day. lol and i only have 4 more granny squares to make before i can start making the 6 half grannysquares and then put my granny square sweater together!! yea!!! i am a product of my generation!! i didnt know how to crochet way back in the early to med 70s when all us hippies and flower girls were wearing all things granny squared lol so of course when i found this pattern i just HAD to make it!! lol so instead of being a hippy dippy flower girl in a grannysquared sweater i'll be a little white haired old lady wearing one lol now if i could just find a pattern for a granny squared maxi dress lol well im off for now to play some games lol iv worked hard today NOT!!

lol love them all!! now a little history...a womans purse IS NOT mysterious thing !! you will most likely find these things in a womans purse..phone, wallet, comb, brush, gum, cigs, make up in or not in a make up bag, and the nessary items when its that time of the month lol now if the woman is a mother add, straws, pebbles, hotwheel cars , caryons, tissue, little dolls, legos , baby socks, paper back books, paper, pencles, pens, baby bottle, dipers ,candy ,gum and anything else that night be needed ... lol when i was in MA school i had my purse hanging on the chair back of my desk...the teacher was putting notes up on the board and my pen ran out of inck so with out taking my eyes off the board i stuck my hand into my purse to grab a pen or pencle well i grabed what i thought was a pencle and still without taking my eyes off the board i started writting out my notes...with in a few minutes the class started to laugh, and so did the teacher,,,when i looked around they pointed to my desk....when i looked i started laughing to... what i had pulled out of my purse was a plastic straw !!lol and my paper of course had nothing written on in because i was trying to write with the straw! lol we all had a great laugh...i should say that most of my class mates were a bit younger then me, but they had all seen my 3 kids so werent really surprised that i had pulled out a straw. lol then of course they wanted to see what else was in my purse lol needless to say at leasst half of what was in my purse is mentioned in this post along with cough drops and my youngest daughter little stuffed doggy. she didnt want me to be alone at school lol and her puppy would remind me of her ad her big sister and brother lol she didnt what me to forget them lol ahh the joys of being a mommy lol these days its dog toys ad treats in my purse along with heaven only knows what else lol

lol i collect dragons myself... lol i'll try to get a picture of the dragon shelf i made soon...its hanging up in the livingroom... its one of the first things i made when i started scrolling again after my divorce... my mom knew i was going to be alright when i finally started singing and doing crafts again. lol and it only took about 3 years lol so of course im always looking for dragon patterns. iv always wanted to make a dragon to hold my mail box.... there are times when its a pain in the butt not being able to make my own patterns....humm i wounder if someone here could make me a pattern i could inlarge big enough to put a mail box on or in... maybe a dragon with its arms outstreached to hold the mail box or perhaps makingone that someone could design where the mail box would be the head and somehow have the door look like fire...and youd have to open the mail box by the fire...humm might have to put that in the patterns request section.. lol i have a dragon planter i made too..but i have to fix it, one of the feet came off it when we moved here. just one more thing on my list lol

well heres some pictures of some stuff iv made. the first one is just a heart box I made...I put red felt on the bottom inside and then tried to inlay the rose. then theres the 2 welcome butterflys...I stacked cut them on 2 different shades of Baltic burch then just switched the insides parts of each, somewhere or another I found a piece of hard wood so I took my book on making these kind of bowls and made the little dinosaur one. I had fun cutting that one out...now I just have to wait for some more hard wood to fall into my lap so I can another one. lol like I said I have a whole book of these kinds of bowls the next one is a combound cut dragon holding a little plastic purple heart..and last but not least my cute little layered angle pig. I cut out the pig and the looked in my craft room for wings lol there a gold kind of thin metal and all I had to do was glue them on lol well I guess my breaks over so I should get back to doing something around here lol

hum i'llhave to see if spike can get me some western cedar, in various shades of course I wounder if the lumber yards are opened. I always love learning new things lol

oh!! well I suspected it was a different langue!! Im always impressed with people who can speak more then one langue , I have enough trouble with English!! lol when my son was in firsr grade we got a call from the school for a meeting. they wanted to put him in speech class because they had a hard time understanding what he was saying, well when we got there they discovered he didn't have a speech problem...he talked like his mother!! lol my mom grew up in broklen NY and I of course learned to talk from her....so of course I had a slight accent myself lol so it was suggested that I start changing my speech and to listen to my husband at that time and try to talk like him lol it took awhile but it did work...I didn't loose my accent really but it wasn't as proniced. after the ex left I moved closer to my family and my accent came back lol either that or I just wasn't watching how I talked anymore lol espically after the kids moved out.lol thank you jim for clearing that up for me

i'll be waiting to see your next project!!! that's one of the reasons I come here...I can see what other people are making.. I finally finished the bird cages with little birdies in the, from steve good and now I just have to cut out the stand and sand and paint it. This is the flat version where the cage has 4 pieces to cut out. I like the other one that's round better lol and will be cutting that out hopefuly soon lol but after I get this one finished I want to work on some compound cut patterns...of course i'll cut the star ship out first!! lol im making 2 one for our Christmas tree and one to hang from one of my nick nack shelfs..im trying to figure out how I can make the one for the Christmas tree sort of christmasy.. lol I also have the bull dog tooth pick holder to get carving on, but I need for spike to drill the hole for the mouth in them first...its on his list!! lol right now hes working on the new dvd/vhs recorder we got...then he has to change the sandpaper on the belt sander for me....I asked him to let me know when he changes it so I watch and maybe learn how to do it myself but he said id never be able to change it myself...I wounder if it could be put on with out being so tight I can't take the parts off that need to be taken off in order to change the sandpaper? but then again if the sandpaper fits it on real tight that could be a problem for me as well.... hummm i'll have to think on that...well anyway I have plenty of things to keep me busy until I can get to those lol

Well I haven't been on the computer much the last 2 days, and haven't done much crafting... its spring you know and even with the botox shots iv had a little bit of trouble with my headaces, the last two days. but I did get a bit of crafting done today. the bird cages are finally painted and hopefuly tomarrow I can get them put together!! then I can get the bulldog toothpicks I cut out onto the kitchen table and start carving them out. im just making 2 this time to see how they turn out, one for my daughter who owns a bulldog and one for me. I made us each a small bulldog compound cut at christmass time actually I made me 2 of them because moose my daughters bulldog had brindle coloring so I painted me a little moose and then the other one i'll paint the tridical bull dog coloring. Its hard to paint a brindle anything lol so my toothpick holder with be the normal coloring and hers will be painted as close to brindle as I can get it. lol I might even make a little collor for it with the name moose on it. I still have the star trek enterprise compound cuts I want to get to for me to. lol...so many wood projects to make and so little time!!! lol I I suppose id have more time to scroll if I weren't doing so many of the other craft projects too. lol hum i'll have to get spike to drill the mouth hole in the bull dogs before I start carving them out...well time to get off the puter. have a great day everybody!!

I want to thank you and everyone else for all the wounderful free patterns!!! I simply love doing the compound cut patterns!!! and have several waiting for me in the wood shop. lol if I ever find pictures I can turn into bobble head patterns i'll be sure to share. lol

yes its harder for those who are used to going a lot, my poor spike I think hes made more trips t battle creek since the stay at home order then normal! lol perhaps it just the idea of being told you cant do something....like children, I know when my kids were little the minute I said no you cant wash the dishes your too little, they immedently insisted they were old enough!!! ( so id get a pot out fill it with water and give them the sliver waire to wash with another pan to put the ones they cleaned lol then when they went outside Id rewash them and put them away lol and then of course mop the floor! lol ) now when they got older it was like pulling teeth to get them anywhere near a sink full of dishes lol

I just HATE it when things break and I cant fix them!!! ggggrrrrrr!!! lol you did a beautiful job on your napkine holder the cutting sanding and finishing is just wounderful !! so now you have to get back to your saw and wow us with your next project!!! ( I said get back to your saw instead of your workshop because for years my scroll saw and drill press lived in my kitchen!!! lol the only time the kids would complain was if I started sawing while they were cooking!!! lol I was nice about it though, I told them you have to eat a pek of sawdust before you die lol a variation of you have to eat a pek of dirt before you die lol)

Happy birthday dick!!! now about the intarsha, I don't try it because you have to use different types of wood, what I do try every now and then it the segmented projects... I think its similar but with the segmented projects I can use nice cheap pine and either stain or paint the pictures.

hum that's interesting...just above this post it says Dragon said and then in the post part there is either a strange langue I don't know or garbled words lol the only word I recognize is spike. lol anybody got any ideas as to how such an odd thing happened?

defently great work!!! I have two ingraving kits I recivd as presents and a box full of wine glass's just waitig for me to try my hand at it. lol After seeing yours I might have to make a point of having spike get that box of wine glasses out of the gragrae lol
