wounderful!!! love your work!!

thanks everybody, its been a good day today. I got 2 patterns traced and hope to get them on wood tomarrow. ( after we get back from the vets, shebas got her follow up app, tomarrow shes doing so good !! I thank God every day and every night for giving me more time with her, while dreading the day I know when she will not be here.... but I felt the same way about my first service dog Charlie,,,may he countue to rest in peace ) the plastic canvas dragon coasters are almost done too.... just have to finish putting the details on the dragons, then one goes on my kitchen shelf and one is the stock box. i'll start 2 new crochet projects when im done. one a granny squared sweater for me and one for my friend, and of course something for the stock box. lol spike says I try to do to much at a time, but I don't know how long this new treatment will last until im not feeling well again and I want to make as much stuff as I can. lol hum might have to get the sewing machings out too, that would really blow his mind!!! lol

lol sounds fimular !! im always looking for new and different things to do lol and im never quite sure if what im making is going to be what I started out to make!!! lol

great idea !! what a wounderful way to help people deal with this when they can't go out. being agoraphobic its great for me!! no place I HAVE to go lol but for the rest of the world I see they are having a bit of a hard time right now

like everyone else I think the project is great!! and I like what you did with it. i'll have to reread your message again though as im not quite sure how you did it. lol

very nice project !!! my my youngest daughter loves cats and she and her husband have 2.... do you have a pattern for this project for those of us who can't draw? my daughters birthday is on the 2nd and id love to make that phone holder for her ifs its ok

beautiful !! and a nice way to let others know we need to work to keep our waters clean so we don't loose them

like every one else it think you did a fantastic job!!1 and its always good to know that some times warped wood with fix itself sometimes

all I can say is WOW!!! my dad loved watching birds and had birdfeeders and bird houses all over moms pourch until she finally told him he could keep 2 hanging from the pourch and the reast hed have to hang out in the yard someplace. the birds got so used to the pourch and people that it got to where she couldn't sit out on her glider on the pourch lol one of the first things I made after I started scrolling again was a cat crawling along a brance towards a birds nest I think it was... it was one of the ones he kept on the pourch,,,,, but I was just learning to buy wood and the wood I made it out of didn't hold up outside for more then a year or so.... im planning to make the pattern again for me this time in honner of dad but before I do any of that I have to decide where to hang it so I can see it from at least one of the windos in this house

found wood!!! im glad im not the only one who searches out found wood just lying around lol and the pig looks great to me tol I asked at johnsons if they had a scrap wood pile I could rummage through but frountly for them and unfrountly for me they heat with a wood stove!! defently a great for a wood store to heat with !! my son in law works at manards but hes unable to get wood for me there....they don't allow it I guess and some of the smaller pices they put in a bin for sale. oh well Iv always managed to get wood, and now that im with spike he gets me all kinds of wood

oh I forgot in the other post my 2 little knobes!!! I made a set like it for my daughter for her wedding...im still trying to figure out a way to make them so the layers aren't so evadent

well since I was d just sitting here I figured id put up a few more pictures, one of my favorit holidays is Halloween frinkinstine hold dractula is a decoration I made a few years ago. now the cementary I wish the pics were better I made when the kids were little...they drew the pictures and I cut them out and we painte them together. theres the cemintary sign and the hounted house on the right on the left is frankinstine and that little black thing in the door way of the sign is a black cat. lol theres a few cematary stones back there to that you really can't see. I love and collect dragons so of course I had to h ae a dragon planter. the standing green dragon is the first thing I made after the ex left and I was in my trailer not to bad considering it had been almost 5 years since I had done any kinds of crafts lol the cats near the front door is a bird feeder I thought was cute. I had wanted to sit in my chair and watch the birds eating but as you can see theres no food in it, that's because when I put food in it the squralls have a ball!! lol I tried putting a big bisket in it one day in the hopes that that would be to big for the squrrals but it was gone within an hour.... we also put a bird seed bell in it and that to dissaperad. im trying to think of a way to put a screen over it that the birds can eat out of while keeping the squarrls away. oh you'll notice on the green dragon a big long crack in his tail....that's because hes made out of some wood I found along the road an some left over wood my dad had down in the basement. lol when I made drarco we were living on what I could earn on mimum wage and what the kids father sent in child suport lol the Halloween decorations were also from found wood. the kids now grown hate our little cematary decorations lol but I will always love them more then any decorations iv bought or made since and they go up every year to my kids distain !!!lol most of the patterns I get from the winterfiel collection or the 2 scroll saw magizines I used to get.and of course those I get from my friend or try to make out of pictures from my other craft magizines. if there a picture I can take apart and then trace into something eles it becomes a wood craft project!! the clock I made in honer of my dad who just loved his beer!! lol I just wish he would have still been alive when I got the pattern. im thinking of making a picture frame instead of a clock and then trying to see if I can find a way to make the beer bottle look like a papst blue ribbin beer bottle since that's what dad drank, he would have gotten a kick out that.

thanks everybody.... of all the wood working I do I like the compound cutting ones too. I have all the compound cutting books I could find and the ones from the winerfild collection, as well as all I could find on line. lol and yes kevin I taught myself by reading books. lol I have a book for the lath that im reading up on and trying to learn now. I inhearteded my exs lath when he died as none of the kids are into woodworking. actually I inheartehed most of tools, including a glass blasting case or is it cabinet. I learned how to do the blasting when we were married only back then I blasted inside of a old washing machine lol I have everything I need now I think to start blasting again once I read enough on line so I can set the air commpersser up for it. … im sure spike will help me with that too. any way im glad you liked the pictures. im trying to get my youngest daughter to take some pictures of the D&D screen I made for her for xmass. I used my dermal to line work and carve 3 different pictures on each panel. and I made her husband a simple darth vader clock. lol hes a huge star wars fan. lol I hope to get into the wood shop tomarrow since I spent today watching tv and doing plastic canvas. lol im making 2 sets of dragon coasters with a castle ( back piece) and water ( front piece) holder. since I collect dragons I just had to make a set for me. lol all I have to do now is put the details on the dragons and then some felt on the backs of everythigng…. I printed out the lastest toy pattern from steve good, and I have one or 2 other wood projects to transfer to wood yet so I can get started on them I might let the craft room go for tomarrow so I can play lol its not like the stuff in theres going anywhere. lol sheba gos back to the vets on Monday for her recheck, im sure its going to go well because shes doing so good!!! although when I make her take her meds in the morning and then at night she goes to sit with daddy for half an hour of so before she forgives me and come back to sit with me. lol but that's ok with me, its worth it just to have her with me for a while longer. well since I don't have any more wood working related things to talk about id best get off here..... espically since I think I put this post in the wrong section!!! i'll try to do better from now on. lol id delet this in put it in the right spot but this old lady is tired!!! lol

well its been a busy couple of days even if I haven't been able to get into the workshop. you see im trying to reorganize my craft room and I can only expend energy for a short time before I have to stop sit and try to catch my breath !! lol but im beginning to see a light at the end of my craft room reorganizing. lol (spike spent a week last month reorganizing my wood shop its so nice now!!! now were just waiting to see how long it will take me to make it a mess again lol) but I thought id put up some pics of some more of my finished projecrs. now I only started deleting the pics from my desk top that iv put up so you might see something iv already put up once before. now heres my first compound cut project. I used the scrap wood from the dalphan to make the base and water waves.the next one is a seagull sitting on what hopefuly looks like one of the pillars that boats are tied to and I added a sea shell just because lol. the base is a piece of drift wood my friend gave me after she went up north and was walking along one of the beaches up there. then theres the snowmen and deer I made. I used a piece of a fake pine tree for the tree . the tree is sitting in a little brown wooden bead. bead juelwy is one craft that I am NOT good at. lol the friend I taught to scroll tried to teach me how to do beading....it was NOT a pretty sight!! lol then theres the last 2 signs.. im going to try to reduce the size of the don't text and drive pattern so I can make some with a string or something on it for people to hang from there rear view mirrors. and last but not least is the no horseing around sign. I am hoping that tomorrow I will be able to at least put some patterns on wood! lol I have several different patterns printed out that I want to make. and I still have to finish carving my little bull dog and then paint it and my little kitten.

hum how do I handle mastakees………… remember my pesty elephants!!! lol I keep trying to find a way to fix them, if I can't fix them they go in the wood bin to be made into something else lol don't know why spike keeps asking if I ever throw anything away!! great cutting !!

love the sign!! and you did great at cutting it too... like you I use mostly pine Baltic bruch or found wood. lol I have a book full of collaspable bowls I seldome get to use because theres not a lot of hard wood just lying around looking for a wood worker to pick up and create something beautiful out of it

what a wounderful project and donation!!! im sure who ever gets it will love it! and I like the recycling of the wood floor. spike got me 100 peaces of old wood floor type materal last month just waiting for me to do something with them lol

very pretty iv seen a few pretty dancing projects on here. my sisters best friend owns a few dance schools now I just have to pick which one to make for him lol or maybe i'll just make him one each of all of them lol
