simply beautiful!!!! and im sure th!e wedding couple will love them all !!!! when my daughter got married last march she asked me to make a cat cake top to go on time. she drew the picture then I cut it out for. Hers was a very simple basic project though nothing as extravagant as yours!!!m

just an update because im sitting here board!!! The stew and cabbage and hamberger cooking on the stove although I did have to put more veggies in the stew and send spike out for another head of cabbage. he couldn't get the regular green cabbage so he got the purple cabbage. iv never made cabbage and hamberger with purple cabbage before but in the pot it went lol iv gotten 2 of the elephants put together and I might do a third, but the the other ones go in the winter box. for now im taking a break and watching flash gorden with spike while playing around on the computer hope everyones sunday is going well for you toll

well its 11: 30 and im already behind secudaly!! lol And how did I get behind you might ask, I forgot that today was the day I had set aside to make home made stew and home made cabbage and hamberger…….so instead of starting it a 6 am like I usuly do I just sat in my chair drank my coffee and did some plastic canvas. I went in to the wood shop to turn on the heater and saw my big pots sitting there on the shelf. Then I remembered oh rats!! I haven't started the stew and cabbage and hamberger!!! so everything had to stop and be put on hold while I started the food. lol spike was kind of surprised that I was making 2 different meals at the same time but like I told him when I was working in the restrants I usuly cook at least 3 or 4 meals in a day plus dissurets. lol its not hard really you just put 2 pots on the stove, gather all your ingredents and dump them in the pot. lol all you have to do is make sure you put the right ingredents in the right pot. lol we did have a little mishap though spike was helping me and he accidently put the leeks for cabbage and hamberger into the stew pot. lol poor man thought he had ruioned the stew. but I assured him he didn't there wasn['t enough leeks to make a change in the taste of the stew and I just got some more leeks out to put in the cabage and hamberger. both meals saved !! lol now I am resting before I clean off the table to work on the pest;y elephants.. I don't know if i'll have time to do much of anything else today but that's ok theres no time limit on when I have to have them done. well my break is done so I guess id best get in the kitchen and start . lol

im sure you didn't upset any one , smoking is really not a good thing to do lol I wound up in the hospital 2 years ago because of broken ribs and a punctured lung...wasn't suppose to be smoking there either, but the one thing about e cigs....theres no smoke or smell lol so spike kept my e cigs hidden and I nabbed a puff every now and then. we've had to call 911 to rush me to the hospital twice at the end of last year because I couldn't breath. sigh you would think even a semi intelligent person would just quite …. I told my lung dr it was easer to quit drinking the it is to stop smoking... she told me nicotee is more addictig then heroin or crack. now sure about that one... any way im doing much better at cutting down with the nicotine tooth picks then I did the patch. I do real good during the day...its in the evening and night that still gets me. but im doing a little better at that slowly but surely. picking up my toothpicks more often then the e cig. like I told my drs iv been a chain smoker since I was 16 and I was field striping other peoples cig butts by the time I was like 13-14 that's a long time lol so I do the best I can and pray a lot. it would be helpflul if I didn't have to go to my various drs at least once or twice a week. being agoraphobic it kind of stress me out, and what do I do when im stressed out??? yu guessed it smoke. but I figure every little bit I cut out is better then nothing.

why thank you scrappile. lol Until I came on here I just thought everybody did scroll sawing the way I do. lol just sort of look through wood working patterns then pick one and do it. lol maybe im just a little strange,,,, wouldn't be the first time I was that. lol

just some more pictures.this one is a pattern ritia and I made. my mom had lung cancer and had to have oxgyn. well open flames even condensed in a cig can be a bad combation to say the least!! lol mom ask me to make her a sign to put up on her door so that the people who dropped off her o2 would stop telling her it was dangerous to smoke while using o2. lol so ritia and I started brainstorming and this is what we came up with lol the words say harrassing me about my smoking is hazardous to ( then the gun)to your health!! below the gun. lol mom eventualy went to the e cigs after trying on one of mine. back then they were considered to be a safe alternative to regular cig. but the news and my lung dr ( I have copd) have since discovered its not! sigh so iv been trying to at least cut down on my smoking of the e cigs. they have a new thing out now that helps me cut down a lot! nicotire tooth picks. I wounder how long it will be before the powers that be decide thos are bad for your health to. lol Oh and the words were spelled right on the plaque. lol we had spike write it out for us. lol next is the sleeping turkey ledge sitter. like I said before its hard to find thanksgiving decorations so I make my own. im glad theres no shortage of thanksgiving patterns out !! now the skull and swards is a pattern I made from a picture of a skull and swards when my son was in his teens. lol it says toxic waist do not enter and it to is spelled correctly on the plaque. lol that should give you some idea as to how my oldest child keep his bedroom as a child. lol last but not least is the puzzle pattern. it was fun to cut out and paint lol now tomarrow is sunday so I hope to do more of my wood working....hopefuly at my saw. lol

the puzzles are great!!! since I collect dragons the dragon puzzle is my favorit. lol where did you get the pattern? I have several critter/word art patterns but I don't have the dragon onw. id love to add that little guy to my collection

a beautiful pattern and work !!! I haven't done much layered work, but these Iv downloaded to see about doing after I finish up with some of the other things im doing now lol

funny thing about the hot peppers....my sister in law is Mexican and she can't stand hot peppers.... now me on the other hand am from irish decent and when I was younger I put hot peppers in or on most everything I made!!! lol you would sweat while eating my chili lol my poor kids couldn't understand why when they ate at other peoples houses the food was sort of bland lol But I have paid a price for all my hot seasoning of foods, I can no longer eat any thing that is spicy...even my tacos and chili have to be mild or regular these days. I have meds I have to take to just to be able to eat normal foods now. but I do still have to sublament my diet with low fatmot foods...which I sometimes change just a little bit here and there while keeping it fatmot. lol as far as doing more than one project at a time....iv spent most of my life muliti tasking so I just don't fee right unless im doing several things at a time. lol but onlyl with my wood work do I do several projects at a time...… I have several things in various stages of work. lol but the crafts I do in my chair like plastic canvas and crochet I usuly do just one project at a time. like right now im making 2 plastic canvas dragon coasters. one for me ( I collect dragons ) and one for the finished craft boxes. lol I wish I could find a sight like this one to show off some of my other craft projects lol iv missed not being able to show any one my stuff since mom died, but like I said everything changes and as 7 of 9 says on star trek voyger… I will adapt!! lol

lol sorry about the speech.....my kids get after me about that too every now and then I guess iv just been a mom so long I cant help but give a speech or lecture

if worse comes to worse you can try to go back in your history and restore your computer to what it was before you clicked on that button,,, if that doesn't work you may have to reformt your computer..... just be sure you back up every thing you have on your computer or you'll loose everything. after you reformat you will have to reload what ever programs you have on your coputer because reformatting sets your computer back to factory condition

congradulaions!!! I got my first table saw this year for valentine times day.. !!! spike got it all set up for me but I have yet to use it as I havn't needed to , spikes used it and as you know while instructiog me on howto use it and to never take the safty thingy off he promptly took the saftys off and cut a big cunck out of his thumb when he was cutting a big sheet of 1/4 inch Baltic burch into manageable sizes for me to use. I am happy to say that his thumb has healed up quite nicely but he will remember his accident every time he sees the scar it left on his thumb. and that is because he refused to go to the ER to get stitches. I let it go at that once I saw the bleeding stop. but it was to big of a cut for me to even put a butterfly on it....geezz!!! lol you men can be very unintelligent when your trying to be macho!!!

I have a very bad habbit that drives spike crazy lol I always have at least 3 or 4 projects going at a time. lol which he says is why I never get anything done.lol but I do get every thing done eventually..i have several boxes of finished crafts in my craft room to prove it !!! lol any way I was transferring patterns of the few farm animal chunkys I could find for my plastic canvas barns as well as steve's dewalt arm holder to wood and my mind for what every reason decided to look back to the past when I was a kid. I was in 11 grade in high school back in the 70s when the government decided that girls must be allowed to take work shop, and auto macanics… for you youngters out there that was before then girls could NOT take either of those classes. and the boys must take at least one class in home ec in order to graduate. Now this did not go over well with the wood or auto shop teachers, or the home ec teachers.....lol change can be hard to accept. lol well anyway while I was transferi;ng my patterns like I said I remembered my first wood shop class. I grew up in a very small village...so there were only about 5 of us in wood shop that first year after the law was past. and the shop teachers weren't sure of what to do with us I guess because we were not allowed to use any of the power tools!!! lol What did we get to do? well we were allowed to look at the patterns and we were allowed to put them on the wood, but after that we had to give our wood or plastic to the boys to cut out and sand. lol then we were allowed to glue our projects together with the boys help of course and after that we were allowed to paint our projects after which we had to once again give our projects to the boys so they could put the finish on them lol I never quite understand why we couldn't use the finish though....did they think we were going to drink it or something!!! lol I often wounder what my old woodshop teacher would think now if he knew I have a woodshop with more power tools then he had in his class! lol and I use them all lol there are other things that have changed since I was young, when I was in elementary school girls could not wear paints except under our dress's to keep our legs warm when we had to be outside for recess....by the time I got into jouiner high we were allowed to wear pants to school but they had to be dress pants. lol it was not until I was in high school were we allowed to wear jeans...and that's all any of us would wear lol I don't think I ever saw a girl in a dress through out my high school years. lol Another thing that changed was my father. when I first moved into the trailer with my girls dad would often come out to do mant;iance on my car. When he was showing me how to check the oil in my car he asked me how I could be as old as I was and NOT know how to at the very least check the oil? He didn't have anything to say after I told him because when ever he was working on the cars and I tried to watch and learn he would always tell me to go help your mother!!! lol unlike when my little sister was born , I m 10 years older then she is.. who he did allow to help him when he was working on cars lol There are a lot of things that have changed over years,,,,,some for the better and some for the worse.... but change will always come in one way or another weather we like it or not. lol

we all have our failures , but before you toss that clock out think about this....to me it looked GREAT !!!! most people...espicaly people who don' t know anything about scrolling or woodworking that piece would be beautiful!!! If you can't put a clock in it with out it breaking perhaps you could make a small figure of some kind to put in it where the clock would have gone...and if you don't think you could put a small shelf inside where the hole for the clock is perhaps you could make or get a small bell or angle to put inside it....if your careful and could put a hook on the inside of the clock so it would hang down. To those of us who are to scaird to even try such a project and espically to those who have no idea what scrolling let alone fret work it is a beautiful work of art. Now if you feel you could not sell it because to you its not a great piece of work,,,,perhaps you could give it away to someone who would apparicate its beauty and all your hard work. I made a wooden barn and animals for some one and the first one didn't work out. the sides not all being perfect thus the reason spike got me a table saw lol so I chucjed it into my tear it apart and reuse the wood for something else box wel last time my grandson was over he saw it in the box and asked what it was when I told him it was barn I h ad tried to make but didn't comeout right so it was in that box to be taken apart and the wood used for something else he asked if he could have I have never seen a boy so happy!!! lol you woud have thought id had given something made out of gold. he spent the rest of t hat day painting it and going through my chunkys box to find people and animals to put in it!!! he loved that thing I think better then any of the other stuff we had done together. lol if im speaking out of turn please don't yell just tell me kindly to mind my own busness…… one persons trash is another persons treasure!!! and now my food is done so i'll go eat it lol

getting a head start of chrimass is a great idea!!! I think i'll look through the patterns here and see if I can find that one to make for my oldest daughter for next year. I made my youngest daughter a line lowrelief wood burned D&D screen for Christmas this year....I don't have a picture of it though because I didn't get it finished until like late on xmass eve. lol she said when she comes over next time she will bring it so I can take some pictures of it. the only thing I was't happy about is that the 3 pannals won't fold all the way flat when shes not using it.....so I put some hooks one the back of each panalla so she can hang it on the wall if she can't find any place to put it . thanks for the great picture and the wounderful idea about getting a head start on this years xmiss presents!!
