  1. ok. how about a micro drill unit near the blade. And longer micro drills for 1 inch wood at 45 deg angle. You can use the same table, and not have to go to a drill press and set table again.
  2. so no one mentioned dust control.
  3. your feathers and double feathers are cool.
  4. important part is team work.
  5. This lion is smelling through a slot in an old building. He is smelling fresh meat, you. Cool idea. pick up some ones cheap furniture. I have been considering a tv table as a functional scrow saw item. A lion staring at you while using a tv tray would be interesting. You would need a plexiglass cover.
  6. These reminders are great. Thanks. I also found a setting to keep the object aspect ratio. It should be set by default. But it is not.
  7. I see the nice old english letter "G" right in center. "GRRRREEEAAAT" work.
  8. So if you use yellow heart wood for the rose. You will have less painting. But the red look fantastic.
  9. is that a new logo for a motorcycle ?
  10. take the bottom 3 and stack them. Have each spin on a separate motor. Now you have kenitic art. All of them look good. Peace, love, hummingbirds, and snowflakes. Beautiful.
  11. just adding to the discussion. . .and my opinion. How do you use the wood grain for clouds on top half and then use the grain for river or pond ripples in the bottom half? I added the river concept to expand ideas. Maybe use a weak transparent blue/green water color look to the bottom half, but still keep the cutout of the ripples? Maybe change bright blue for wet mossy green. overall the concept of pond reflection is good.
  12. "join the herd" looks like it is made from marble.
  13. ..... pulled to the darker background. the blue has more potential for opening the mind for more possibiities. Red is known for hurry up and make a decision. Well that is what "some fruit" corporate says. blue room vs red room. For me the red is more goddessy. Oh and the pieces do really look good. I hope they do their job. promote peace
  14. those pictures sent a song into my head. "how can you mend a broken heart".
  15. Yep. I do like them. I like the saguaro cacti the best. Next project you can add the Joshua trees.
  16. I like your idea about getting the sides painted. Black looks good. Maybe in some cases different color might make it pop more. You effort shows nice smooth curves. Good job.
  17. Questions: On the red flowers is the dark red the only raised area? The light red is backer board? Is this the same with light blue on butterfly? Me not knowing, does the wood need to be primed for acrylic paint? The green stems swirls got a bit thin. Maybe the pattern needs to be tweaked. My idea is super thin wont add much to the art piece. But a broken piece will detract from product. the following comments are just future thought and probably stupid ideas. Since the butterfly is not part of the backer, mount the butterfly on spring steel wire so it can move in the breeze or if you touch it. This will change the viewers attention but will also have potential to degrade from fine art to cute idea. By the way , The piece is beautiful.
  18. Wow this is a thick piece. Your script curves are smooth and the straights looks really good. What blade(s) did you use? Type of wood? Good job.
  19. ooh pretty. What is wood type? and finish.
  20. At first I thought you just glued the thin horse on top of the thick piece. Then I had zoomed in to see the thin horse is actually a backer for the entire horse shoe and open letters. Nice project.
  21. Nice video. And great project.
  22. Excellent. Excellent and great. I'm glad that you are getting good reviews and feedback from general public. With your work, you may have started a trend of scrollsawers to started add color.
  23. Thanks for showing the orig picture. The original has the feel of a wanted poster that you would hang up in a barn. Your version has the feel of hanging in the business office that deals with expensive race horses. Oh and the colored patches are missing from the horse. I am playing with words here. Painted horse concept. Since you like to add color I thought I would mention it.
  24. looks like copper plating ( new way ?) and milk paint blue.
  25. it is beautiful. Is the height about 5 inches?
