  6. Dakota, It is a Zager. They are hand made in Lincoln Nebraska. I got rid of my Alvarez and got this guitar by way of a Martin that I didn't like. This guitar plays easier than any guitar I have played before and for a new guitar it sure sounds pretty. I can't wait to hear it as it ages. Between my son and I we have several guitars. 1986 Yamaha SE350 Electric that I got for graduating High School. My sons first guitar whic is an Austin Electric, inexpensive but good. 1996 PRS CE24. 1977 Alvarez Acoustic. 100th anniversary Gibson Dove. Martin DC1E. A Lawsuit Takamini 12 String (The one martin sued Takamini over because of the logo) Zager ZAD50CE Sunburst and a Yamaha FG830 That is my camping guitar. I do have my mothers guitar that she took lessons on when I was a baby. Its a classical guitar.
  7. Here is a stand that I made for my new guitar. Had to make it nice since it is by far the finest guitar that I myself own.
  8. Finally got a couple of projects finished. The Serenity Prayer is for my wife, since I sold the first one. The Lighthouse was made and sold for a couple to give to their Pastor.
  9. Gorgeous!
  10. That is such an awesome piece. Great job!
  11. I thought about that after I finished it. LOL I might make a pouch to attach to the underside.
  12. I needed a little table to set between our chairs when we are camping. I decided to make a checker board table. It folds down and stores easy. I wanted to make a cigarette rolling tray. So I came up with this. There is a small routed out place in the lower left corner to gather extra tobacco. Both projects are made from scrap oak and poplar.
  13. Here is my piece. The Founding Fathers!
  14. Been a bit since I have finished a project. SOOOOOOOOO much going on. Garden in full swing, tractors and a backhoe that need fixed, a little camping and fishing. My Mother-in-Law passed away this last week and my wife is just beyond sad. I finally got in the shop yesterday and today and finished the frame and put this together. It is a H.Botas Pattern. The piece is poplar strips glued together and planed down. The frame is some teakwood that is used in pallets of things coming from out of the country. The splines are Dark Walnut from here on the property. The stain is Golden Oak.
  15. This was on the project workshop. I have been wanting to do a billy the Kid. Here is my version. I decided to my first stack cut with this one. I used a 1/8 Oak veneered over a masonite type board. I got it from a cabinet shop. The frame is re-purposed oak. I used some OLD nails as an accent in the corners of the frame.
