  1. Oh my gosh. That is super great. What a nice trophy!
  2. Well thanks for showing! That's a great likeness between the scroll and the picture. Super job.
  3. Oh Man, I love the teapot. Well, you know the other one is quite nice also.
  4. This whole post is funny. And yea, that is a nice back scratcher. The other end of that should be a shoe horn for the old folks that creak when the bend down.
  5. Rhonda, I would guess it is caused by the size of the picture. If this is true, try this: Copy the picture, paste it in an EMAIL to yourself. Select the option Optimize fast for sending in mail Receive and rename it. Put this picture in your Gallery. Bet it works.
  6. Robb, go to 'Works in Progress forum and search for 'mountain' or 'Gabry'. Look at what she does with a 'handsaw'...coping saw or fret saw. She does amazing work with her hand saw.
  7. That's a pretty cool deer...and I like your cabinet dust collector...or whatever you call it.
  8. Kevin, That is nice. Quite thoughtful. Oh, did I say, "Good Job."

    VW Bus

Looks like a winner. And looks exactly like a VW Bus. Good job on that.
  10. Is it chewable? Can A ST. Bernard Carry it? I like it, It's a cute idea.
  11. Wow I admire that, beautiful, a superb cut and very professional.
  12. Welcome Robb. I gave my thoughts of scrolling on a crayon line in your other post. Blade is too small for the wood. The wood is too hard or thick for the blade. You are pushing too hard. There are other reasons, someone will mention them. It is good you have future projects planned. Now you need to get your confidence. You will always have little screw ups as we all do. That is just the nature of scrolling. There is a lot of information herein and there is always someone to answer your questions. Welcome to the Village. Stop in for coffee sometime.
  13. Kevin can scroll straight down the line while he sleeps. Well Robb, you can't blame the saw, you have a good one. A lot of staying 'on the line' depends on a number of factors. The blade you use and the speed you cut. Also the thickness of the wood and the wood hardness. The smaller the blade, the more likely to stray. Welcome,
  14. A successful day is g-o-o-d. Plan one for tomorrow now that you know how it's done.
  15. Congrats!! That sounds like what you want every day.

    the mill

What makes this so unbelievable is it was done with a spiral. That is a years cutting. Admirable job. Outstanding job.
  17. Good idea, near patent quality. I like what you did.
  18. Danny, No place to hold cards or pegs. Yea, hot dang, I am pleased I am the first. Maybe I am just first acknowledging. You create good patterns. Whoopie, Matt like it!
  19. Frank, I would call it simply good. It's cute too.
  20. Another cribbage board in my quest to fill my shop with them. This board is approx 11" x 12" and 1" thick. The Harpy Eagle is cut on 5/8" Oak and the Cribbage Board is on 3/16" Maple. The finish is Lacquer. The Eagle has a few tricky cuts, I like the way it turned out. Thank you Vykus for the Harpy Eagle pattern. Thank you Wilson Woodworks for the cribbage pattern. Larry
  21. Frayed cord, loose connection, flakey outlet? Yes, now pile up the sawdust.
  22. What a contrast between the two. Both very nice. I like the pumpkins best. You did a great cut on the sailboat. Larry
  23. What's this, "hurry hurry hurry" ???? Leads to oops
  24. Delicate, yes I would say it is. Very nice job.
  25. Hummmmmmm, Don't know.
