We bantered this over a few months ago. Don't remember if there was a real cure or panacia.
I was told to use a blow dryer on the conxex side.
If you take it out...WILL IT COME BACK?
You are right, I could route it and probably look good. I have had glitches routing it before.
Hollow spots in the core sometimes. Not too late, I still could. ... Hummm
Yes I did route the edge of the Cherry one but could not do the Oak because it is a 1/4" pressboard
sandwiched between thin Oak plywood. Didn't think the Oak would look ok routed.

I really like Gordie's pattern of "FAMILY" .
Here is what I did with it.
This is without a finish and I showed it to my neighbor. He liked it so much that
he bought it unfinished.
Here's the same one with three (3) coats of BLO.
18" x 8" x 3/8" thick Cherry with a 1/4" BB backer.
I stack cut two.
The second one is 18" Oak.
Nice looking piece, you did a great job.
How about a little detail. thickness, wide, long, blade used.......
Makes it more interesting with the extra specifics.
That is a nice spread on your table. All looks good and congratulations on your sales.
One week from today, I will be at a craft fair. Would love to have $300+ sales.
