  2. We bantered this over a few months ago. Don't remember if there was a real cure or panacia. I was told to use a blow dryer on the conxex side. If you take it out...WILL IT COME BACK?

  8. Yes I did route the edge of the Cherry one but could not do the Oak because it is a 1/4" pressboard sandwiched between thin Oak plywood. Didn't think the Oak would look ok routed.

  10. If you have dull or cheap Forstner bits that have a tough time cutting, then just use the Forstner bit to mark where you will scroll saw your hole.

  15. I used a #2 .026 x .011 and the Oak is 1/4" Oak Ply... The Cherry is 3/8" Cherry board .... soooo... total thickness cut was 5/8"

  17. I really like Gordie's pattern of "FAMILY" . Here is what I did with it. This is without a finish and I showed it to my neighbor. He liked it so much that he bought it unfinished. Here's the same one with three (3) coats of BLO. 18" x 8" x 3/8" thick Cherry with a 1/4" BB backer. I stack cut two. The second one is 18" Oak.
  18. Nice looking piece, you did a great job. How about a little detail. thickness, wide, long, blade used....... Makes it more interesting with the extra specifics.
